I applied on the 3rd. No MR yet.

I am sure it will come eventually for the majority of us. Nothing we can do to speed it up, so why stress out over it?

My application was received on july 19, and got AOR ON AUGUST 17,,,NOTHIG AS OF NOW,,,,,,so plz guys keep on updating everyone to keep the positive energy around whenever u hear something from cic,,,,,,GOOD LUCK to everyone,,,,,,

AOR Aug 2012 and nothing as of now -> you should contact CIC directly, given the "120 days" phrase on your AOR.

its before medical.. they call just to confirm the employment job duties.. they will only call if they have some serious doubts.. once you get ur medicals... i don't see a reason to worry unless u have some health issues..

i just wanted to share this phone issue because i got rejected previously just because they could not get in contact with my employer.. ( he was on vacation) .. just don't want anyone to suffer because of this stupid reason again.. anyways lets be positive..

Dont know if you were lucky or unlucky in this case...

Lucky side - they did show their willingness to verify with your employer instead of just a straight reject to your case due to the "serious doubts"...I bet its not VO's obligation to verify your job duties right its the applicant's obligation to show the validity of the as claimed job duties...

Unlucky side - your boss wasnt able to pick up a nice phone call from a confused VO...

Didnt they try emailing him? as we supposed to give email ID of the boss? what if for some reason he is not in canada ? cant they send a email?
do you know if they tries emailing your boss...this is scary

Has any one done upfront medicals.. If yes did you get you passport request...

I have done it in jan 2013.. And after AOR no communication from CIC so worried... Is it a blunder to do upfront medicals...

I have also done upfront medicals, and sent notification with file number to cic, however I have not received any updates from them!
Konark, Could you please share your timeline?
