July 2012 PR Applications

I finally booked my medical exam for May 17th.
The doctor told me that I can only do the blood test AFTER the exam, is that correct?
What about the chest x-ray, can this be done before?

If I got MR, does that mean, I met all the requirements for PR? My application is complete? I am eligible for PR?
Does it ever happen to be rejected at this stage?

We received your application for permanent residence on July 19, 2012.

We started processing your application on April 19, 2013.

E-Med exam booked for Wednesday April 24. On the email I only received IMM 1017 with medical instructions and one page MEDICAL REPORT CLIENT BIODATA AND SUMMARY, however when I booked the appointment I was asked to bring a personalized form from cic with a barcode on it. (Which I didn't receive) I hope they can process my e-medicals without it. according to the receptionist I spoke to, for the e-medicals they need to scan a bar code. Is this true?

Those who received med request, do you have a barcode on top of your document received?

Yes, my medical form had the barcode, as well as other personal infrmation printed on it.

I would suggest that you email CPP-O and seek clarification.

Should I reschedule my appointment? I just emailed cpp-o asking for the missing form. Can medical exam still be done without that barcode?

"That my file is under review.
And they will contact with me regarding the next steps in my file, in due time."

App received : 23 July, 2012.
AOR received : 17 Aug,2012.

Hi folks - I had filed my application on July 23 2012 and haven't heard anything from CEC yet...keeping fingers crossed.
I hope we get the MR soon...

I agree with you torontoboy.......I applied on July 25th application received on 1st Aug n AOR on 23rd Aug.....
I am still waiting......guess we cant do anything to speed it up.....n I think not sending too many avoidable inquiry emails will give the immigration officers more time to focus......

Just stay patient friends.... It is hard to wait but not impossible..... as someone said ITS BETTER LATE THAN NEVER
