I have sent my passport and waiting for stamping now, so at this point is there still chance of rejecting?

The first letter of Confirmation of Permanent Residence was dated May 2,2013. The second letter which is for interview date is taking too long. It has been a month...why? help

Hi July272013,

I understand ur frustration but upfront medicals is not a good idea.......I saw someone who did it has to undergo medicals again.....
Patience will save u money and hassle too....
Just have some patience buddy...u will get it soon.......only few of us are left.....

No this is not true! CIC does indeed ask you to submit your passports's in Canada (CPP-Ottawa) regardless of which visa office you select. This is based on my experience.

I am in the same situation as you guys. I was asked to submit the passports in Canada. I have now sent them through a friend of mine. (Included a new Use of Representative Form as he would be sending it through post from Canada and and Authorization form so that he could take the passports across the border)

I had posted a query regarding the same as well:

I could not reply to your personal message as it was giving me an error. Since you had applied and you want to get your spouse's passport across from India, I think you would only need an authorization form stating that the carrier is authorized to carry it out of the country for Visa stamping purposes.

I had to also include the "use of a representative form since my friend would be carrying it to Canada and then posting it from there. Also the expectation is that he receives the passport after visa issuance and then brings it back to India.

i just want to update about my status.It has been changed as "IN RPOCESS" .Sent bio data and RPRF receipt and booked the date for medical test.

It had been a productive week but I know gagan, brithekop, pingu, nicehoilove, hamad0313, GHboy, makunda, SB1950 are still waiting....dnt worry guys.....looks like now they have found us...just keep ur hopes up...its coming....

It is so nice to see that they are pushing the remaining July batch now.....Good luck for the whole process guys.......

another news guys......my immigration lawyer forwarded my BIODATA FORM n RPRF request...
Going for medicals in June 10th......just worried that Dr. Grunberg's clinic is little slow on sending medicals....
so hope it will take about another month to get PPR...
