Got sponsorship approval today from Ottawa Pilot (6.30am PST if anyone's interested). So so happy. Wow. What a good start to the weekend, and some downtime from obsessively checking emails.

Grats to everyone else getting approvals lately and hopefully the rest will follow shortly.

I AM VERY HAPPY. I was worried alot.

I called CIC today (September 28, 2012) at 11.45 AM and they told me that My application was approved 40 minutes ago. That is such a coincident. They told me they did not sent me email but they will send me the approval letter by mail and i should receive it in 2-3 weeks.

Please update the Spread sheet for me.

Nothing to do about it The website says they are still working on the July 12 group applications. I've been exploiting my Netflix account because I still got another couple of months. You are so close. Just be patient.

Congrats Woffles and Kamar - I have updated the spreadsheet!

Would love to be able to call CIC myself, but am living outside of Canada- so looks like I will have to be patient! I have a sneaking suspicion they will be sending me snail mail too, so will have to wait another few weeks.... As long as it gets looked at eventually, I am not too worried!

Hi Bagel,

If you want to call CIC try............... 001-613-944-4000 then 1,2,1,1,2,1,0 the hard part is to time the call so that you get through. I called a couple of minutes before 8am (Canadian Eastern Time) as you have go through the prompts. I was able to get through each time but holding times varied. Remember the time change if that's happening this weekend.

Strange thing happened this Saturday afternoon. We got a Sponsorship approval e-mail. Woo-Hoo! The strange part is the government working on a Saturday???? : I'm not complaining at all. Very grateful actually, just totally unexpected! :
