HI! Im new here but ive been monitoring the forum since last year. I just filled my FSW application (VO manila) under NOC 1122. Sent yesterday, waiting for it to reach CIO. Just want to share my timeline with you guys. How long does it usually take for DHL to deliver to CIO Canada from Manila?

Welcome brown_eyes!!

It is approx. 4-7 days before it reaches CIO..in case your package falls on a weekend on Halifax Canada..they will send it on Monday since CIO office is closed on weekends ;D ;D..my friend sent hers last Tuesday at it just arrived this Monday at CIO (due to incorrect delivery to one if DHL's facility at Halifax)

Goodluck!!

Im afraid my application did not use the 2D bar-coded IMM forms. did your friend filled hers with the new form? anyone from the forum who filled with the old forms and got their applications returned? or is it too soon to know?

No..still on old forms, I guess you don't have to worry since CIO still accepts old forms up to this time, they will only stop accepting those forms starting Nov . 14..the biggest fear for now is reaching the CAP..

hey guys,

viewing a lot of speculations regarding the filling of caps.

but i personally think that 1122 will open atleast for this month end. last time the cap was reached in october end. so this time there might be number of people who were ready with their application. but i really dont feel that the caps will filled so early. 500 is still a gud number. and one is safe if his/her application reached cic before the month end.

what do you say guys.

Hope you are right there, NISH.. Im pretty sure the cap will be filled much much early than last year since they lowered the cap to 500. I do hope we all get to it before the cap is reached. Im relieved about the new forms not being required until nov 2011. Let's get the timeline going and pray that it is at least as fast as MI2 process if not faster. Good luck to all 1122 applicants.

whats the fastest NOC to be filled up or reach the cap limit?

You just have to submit an affidavit of discrepancy for all documents with typo error duly notarized and signed by the primary applicant. that's all you need to support your claims of errors.

hi brown_eyes,

i added you to the spreadsheet, hope u could provide the missing details thanks and goodluck ;)

Thanks for the post, much useful information. I think, those who already applied after July'1, 2011 are good.. those who are yet to apply should submit new check list IMM5612 and generic Application IMM 0008, And this mandatory after November'2011
