to first time applicants,
please take the time to patiently read the topic:
POST JUNE26 FSW APPLICANTS. You'll find most answers to your questions are in there. They were provided by Post june 26 applicants, some of whom are already in Canada, others are waiting for their returned passports with their stamped visa on it, while the other lucky ones are waiting for their PPR. It is very helpful and what's important is, they came from applicants themselves who had experienced what some of us here, if not all of us have experienced or is/are currently experiencing.
I am one of them, the post june 26 applicants, and i also belonged to the pre june applicants, unfortunately due to some errors committed by my previous agency i did not make it, likewise with my last direct attempt since cap was full so here i am now again, this time as a July 2011 applicant, hopefully i can submit my docs upon receipt of my returned application package.
in the Additional Info, a lot of successful (by successful i mean those who already have their visas) applicants shared with us how they filled it up. and that is the PA under the applicant column, and the spouse under the spouse column even if it is the spouse's turn to state his/her family members. there is only one PA between husband and wife, the others become dependents, unless they are both PA, submitting different or separate application packages and paying processing fees each. it has been stated too in my previously returned documents by the CIO themselves, during one of the errors made by my previous agents.
with the many help/assistance, information provided by or given by the successful applicants themselves through forum like these esp POST JUNE FSW APPLICANT topic, i decided to launch my applction w/o the help of an agency/immig lawyer, therefore saving me thousands of dollars in consultation fees. Aside from their assistance, it is important that we do lots of research and readings from other applicants experiences so that we will be able to avoid the same mistakes that they have committed and save ourselves the trouble of waiting for our returned documents (more or less abt 4 months as in my case), worst scenario would be to reach until 2nd AOR only to find out from our respective VO that we lack something points here or there, or anything that they believe is not in accordance with their guidelines.
This would really be heart wrenching, i have felt it, been there done that and i would not want the other applicants to feel what i have felt. What the others in my same scenario felt. Hence, my post.
We are here to share things we know based on our actual experiences, to help, to guide, and to assist to the best of our ability.

hello everyone,
I am ready to send my application, but I am confused if I have to Certify all my photocopies or the document that is only indicated to be photocopied? please help.
Please check with your document checklist and visa office specific checklist the specific documents that they require to be notarized, original copy or just photocopied. As you arrange your documents based on these checklist, tick each as you file them accordingly.

Its a good idea but i dont know how to merge two threads. Anyone?
don't know too. but don't worry diji, explorer976 and I are in THOSE PLANNING TO APPLY AFTER 01 JULY 2011 too. we monitor every posts made in both topics and include in the spreadsheet those who likes to join. everyone is welcome, there is no exclusivity as long as the intention is to be of assistance,to be of help and to see something new with the system, to keep our mind from thinking about our applications (you see, it is very difficult, sometimes frustrating thinking all day abt this, it could really be stressful you know ;D)
any update is most welcome.
