I have updated the spreadsheet.

Let us know when your pallication is delivered.

All the best!

hello... :)

application received by DOUG... july 15... please update.. thnx much.

Godbless... ;) :)

Can any one answer this question...

Suppose if CIC received 490 application till yester day and today if they recevied 50 applications.
How they select remaining 10 applications from 50 received on last day?
1) Random lottery of 10 from 50 received on last day? OR
2) The first 10 applications received (consider receiving time) among 50 on last day?

Hello Guys,
I'm pretty sure that 1122 has not reached cap till date after seeing the update for federal investor program on twitter(it states that investor program is now closed). As they haven't updated anything about 1122 yet, this implies total complete applications are still below 500.

I guess, the complete applications out of those 50 would all be eligible and have to be taken in as they were received on the same day.

It was good question by PR Moon---- but i expressed my personal views few days back in 1122 forum. The main aspects of that are as belows:

""""Good things for many is that incomplete applications will not come underr the CAP and will be returned, thus giving room to others!!!!

Bad thing is that to some extent there will be human element (merit element) involved in checking the completeness of application!! it would be on their discretion if they consider one's application complete or incomplete!!

Due to burden of application on 1122---- My personal guess is that ----- Even if a person looks eligible by books/by rule or by points, but still if they find someone working in very very small company or very very small city, with less responsibile job duties or if they find someone's application weak due to any reason, they can make a excuse that something was missing like a blank in the form or inappropriate birth certificate or bla bla bla. You know there could be 100s of excuses if they want to return someone's application by claiming it incomplete!!

So i guess besides meeting the criteria, there would be some merit selection as well.

I believe its just llike the job interview for e.g if there are 100 contestents for job interview and the company need only 1, offcourse they will try to select the top one!!! Although nothing is mentioned on their website about this issue!! But my personal opiniion is that this will go like this!! Becoz the supply is more and demand is less!!!"""""

Hi RKC,

This quote of yours, gives a lot of soothness to heart. However, it all depends upon the quality of your application whether it will get selected or not, but still you'll be able to convince yourself that atleast your application was scrutinized by someone at CIO.
Hope to see all you wonderful people in CANADA sometime next year.

Good and timely info provided by RKC regarding 700 CAP of Federal Skilled Category
Thanks

I think 1122 will not take more than 10 days to reach CAP

I have added a couple of new pages to the spreadsheet - to monitor the number of application received in each NOC and the percentage of total application on this forum as well as percentage of cap.

I hope this is helpful. Let me know if you can think of any improvement.

The second page the 29 NOCs and their respective titles.

Just doing something to keep my mind off.....when will they update the site and who will be first to get their fee encashed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :'(

what u just added is a great idea! ;D thanks for the effort! ;) is it okay if i placed the noc title beside the stat sheet? and i rearranged them according to numerical order that way it'll be easy to find your noc# just by looking at its numerical arrangement?

hey guys, wespoint and explorer976.
thanks a lot for your efforts. you guys rock. why dont you merge your topic with goodman's topic on post july 2011 applicants. that will help everyone to connect in one place and together our forum will grow leaps and bounds :). just a thought.

goodman topic in skilled worker category is "those-planning-to-apply-after-01-july-2011-lets-connect"
enjoy :)

Sure. Change as you feel fit. Anything that is helpful.

to first time applicants,

please take the time to patiently read the topic: POST JUNE26 FSW APPLICANTS. You'll find most answers to your questions are in there. They were provided by Post june 26 applicants, some of whom are already in Canada, others are waiting for their returned passports with their stamped visa on it, while the other lucky ones are waiting for their PPR. It is very helpful and what's important is, they came from applicants themselves who had experienced what some of us here, if not all of us have experienced or is/are currently experiencing.

I am one of them, the post june 26 applicants, and i also belonged to the pre june applicants, unfortunately due to some errors committed by my previous agency i did not make it, likewise with my last direct attempt since cap was full so here i am now again, this time as a July 2011 applicant, hopefully i can submit my docs upon receipt of my returned application package.

in the Additional Info, a lot of successful (by successful i mean those who already have their visas) applicants shared with us how they filled it up. and that is the PA under the applicant column, and the spouse under the spouse column even if it is the spouse's turn to state his/her family members. there is only one PA between husband and wife, the others become dependents, unless they are both PA, submitting different or separate application packages and paying processing fees each. it has been stated too in my previously returned documents by the CIO themselves, during one of the errors made by my previous agents.

with the many help/assistance, information provided by or given by the successful applicants themselves through forum like these esp POST JUNE FSW APPLICANT topic, i decided to launch my applction w/o the help of an agency/immig lawyer, therefore saving me thousands of dollars in consultation fees. Aside from their assistance, it is important that we do lots of research and readings from other applicants experiences so that we will be able to avoid the same mistakes that they have committed and save ourselves the trouble of waiting for our returned documents (more or less abt 4 months as in my case), worst scenario would be to reach until 2nd AOR only to find out from our respective VO that we lack something points here or there, or anything that they believe is not in accordance with their guidelines.

This would really be heart wrenching, i have felt it, been there done that and i would not want the other applicants to feel what i have felt. What the others in my same scenario felt. Hence, my post.

We are here to share things we know based on our actual experiences, to help, to guide, and to assist to the best of our ability. ;)

hello everyone,

I am ready to send my application, but I am confused if I have to Certify all my photocopies or the document that is only indicated to be photocopied? please help.

Please check with your document checklist and visa office specific checklist the specific documents that they require to be notarized, original copy or just photocopied. As you arrange your documents based on these checklist, tick each as you file them accordingly.

don't know too. but don't worry diji, explorer976 and I are in THOSE PLANNING TO APPLY AFTER 01 JULY 2011 too. we monitor every posts made in both topics and include in the spreadsheet those who likes to join. everyone is welcome, there is no exclusivity as long as the intention is to be of assistance,to be of help and to see something new with the system, to keep our mind from thinking about our applications (you see, it is very difficult, sometimes frustrating thinking all day abt this, it could really be stressful you know ;D)

any update is most welcome.

700 CAP (full) of Federal Investor Category -guys what is the noc of federal investor category?

Im quite confuse because Ive been reading here that the TOR should be sealed in a University Envelope? But my agency told me that Its okay to submit TOR not sealed in an envelope.I could even submit my TOR last 2007,so I did not apply for a new TOR..Also,Ive been trying to submit my original diploma to them, but they refused to accept it since they are just requiring a photocopy of it. I am just confused because Ive been reading here that it should be notarized, sealed etc? can somebody clarify this issues? :o
