I think it would be much better and well appreciated if the admin will reset our thread and place it in order particularly the date when CIC received our application.. what you think??

When CIC will update cap count statistics (Total complete applications received since July 1, 2011)? do they have any specific date to announce this?

Nope. For June2010+ applicants it was approximately once per week. But then tend to leave it a few weeks until one of the NOCs gets close to the cap, then update regularly until the cap is full.

They will certainly have a larger number of applications than usual because of people waiting during the June2010-July2011 period once their cap is full.

My guess is it will take them a few weeks yet to get some numbers together, so maybe 1 week after people first report their credit card is charged. Say end of July? But I am just guessing.

Hi hope somebody can answer this. I found a typo error in my marriage contract. My dad's family name is wrong. Do I need to correct this? All other documents are consistent and correct except for this one thing.

Dear , my application was received by Mike on the 1st June 2011, hopefully ur DD will be encahsed between 15th to 20th July. Best of Luck.

Hi, on my marriage contract, my mother's name also has a typo/clerical error. My consultancy recommended that I submit an affidavit of discrepancy (for the mean time only for the submission of requirements) but eventually I filed for the correction of the clerical error at the civil registry (this could be requested by the Visa Office).

as of today my application is in Halifax Canada (Arrived at Delivery Facility in HALIFAX - CANADA at 6:58) according to DHL website...
how many days should I expect to arrive at the CIO? I have no idea regarding this... thnx

based on my application about 24 hours. maybe tonight (AM in Canada)
