Hi All,

Just wanted to inform everybody that I have got my package back from CIC a few days ago. My application details were as follows:

NOC: 1122
Appl Rcvd: 3rd Aug 2011
VO: London

It came back with a letter informing me about cap reached and with the UCI no hand written with red pen on the application form and another number on top.

Sorry to hear that.

I was just going through the xl sheet and noticed that one of the other applicants ( stranger4ever ) has also sent his application around that time ( in fact he has mentioned that application was received on 3rd Aug ) and he has got the PER on 20/12.
So may 3rd Aug was the day when the Cap was reached.

Stranger4ever is FSW2 applicant. Thts arranged employment. Cap rule doesn't apply here

only 62 places left in my NOC (3112) ... my application recieved at 8-november-2011 .. do u think there's any chence to be in cap .... I'm verrrry DEpresssssssssssssssssssssssssed , bad christmas for me...

do anybody know the length of CIC's christmas vacation (from... to ...) and when will they resume work.

please do not get depressed. No matter the outcome of your application, good or bad, all these will pass...what is important is to have a positive outlook in life. Even in the most depressing moments of our life, pls try and see the beauty in it. As they say, it is a blessing in disguise. Having experienced a lot of negative results from my previous applications, when I embraced all these and offered everything to God, it eased my mind and it helped me move on...

It doesnot work still. What else i can do?

i tried it too and doesn't work yet...then when i read the written result i remember reading something abt "you will know the result once they start processing your papers" something like this...and i think our papers (at this stage) are not being processed yet since it has not reached our respective vo's. It will be processed in our vo...so wait a while my friend for our files to be transferred to our vo maybe then it'll work and show the status of our application.

perhaps i will try it again this January, for now, will enjoy the holidays with my children

We're in the same boat. Can't also access my ecas.. Does it has sumting to do with the holidays? LOls... It exacty says there "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided. There could be three possible reasons:
Please be sure the information you entered is correct and then try again.
This service is only available to clients with applications in process. We may have received your application but not yet begun processing it. The following link may help you determine if your application is being processed: Application Processing Times

the underlined statements above is what i am referring to. i think our papers are not being processed yet that is why there is no update yet on our ecas. let us wait for a few more days, prolly try logging again this January 2012 perhaps there will be an update by then.
