Thanks RKC for the reply.. Are you talking about the online query form of new delhi? Yeah, as you said i have written them about my problem. I also gave them my address in India and asked them to send the rectified form on that address. the last date for them to receive my documents is 24th Jan,2012. I am worried now!
Also I called one of the doctors in Canada and she said I can get my medicals done, the only thing is I will have to correct it myself on the form and I will have to write back to CHC about the correction. Please share your views...

Tim, as you already wrote them, on Wednesday you should FAX your query at Immigration Fax: (91-11) 4178-2031 & try calling them too at Immigration Tel.: (91-11) 4178-2050

I don't think you should correct DOB yourself, take a second opinion from another Canadian DMP on the same. Don't worry, this can be resolved.

Our PER is a very meaningful one, as CIC had ALL our docs with them and have given their go ahead based on that. Now, if you have a straight forward verifiable case in terms of employment and college degrees, no security hassles, no serious medical problems, you are through. Its just a matter of time.

So lets enjoy our PER and plan ahead!

Hi Guys

I am in a serious problem! I just discovered that the date of birth in my medical form is incorrect. Is there anyone who has a similar issue? I dont think the doctor will do the medical tests with this incorrect details. How do i get it corrected? I have to plan my trip to India accordingly..

What a situation to be in Tim

If I were you I would call the VO and clarify this. It might not be a wise idea to come all the way to India without first checking with the VO about this. If it were just a typo on a name spelling or address or any such, it wouldn't be so serious. But DOB needs correction I feel.

do anybody know the length of CIC's christmas vacation (from... to ...) and when will they resume work.

Congrats to all had PER or DD encashed past few days , and Merry christmas for u all.

They are right now working on around the 20th of Oct. Just keep your fingers crossed. You might be in. I know what you are going through, as I remember my days vividly. It is very stressful, but just keep faith.

Official vacation is only 2 days. But they do take their annual vacations hence work on a skelton staff. They normally come back after first week of Jan.

Thanks RKC.. I will fax them and call them as well on wednesday. Do you think I should ask for an extension to submit my documents as it is their fault? I am also calling DMPs in new delhi to check what they have to say about this.

People do get NER also after encashement. But why are you thinking negative? You will get PER!!!

This is the mail ID FSW-Centralized_Intake-Office@cic.gc.ca and the subject will read " Applicatio​n for Permanent Residence in Canada".
