My Questions before submitting my application next week. Hope somebody is kind enough to reply. ;D

1. Personal Net Worth Statement is not included anymore in the new forms, is it advisable to include this in my application? My POF is only pure cash (bank deposit certificate).
2. NOC number is not included in the mailing address of CIO (attached to the envelope), is it advantageous to include it in the address?
3. After validating and printing my IMM0008 Generic Application form, do I need to put NA for those spaces I have left blank (i.e. UCI, P.O.Box No., Apt. Unit, Citizenship (2), etc...)?

NOC 0631

381 on 10th Nov (11th, 12th, 13th were holidays).

391 on 15th Nov (which means 10 applications rcvd on 14th alone).

416 on 17th Nov (which means 25 applications in 2 days - 15th Nov and 16th Nov!).

This means average applications rcvd is about 11.25 a day????? And they are still on 31st Aug!!!

Someone please tell me my calculation is WRONG!! I absolutely DO NOT want to believe this!

just to say a hearty congrats to everyone who received PER this week and all for CC and BD charged. I gave CIC a nudge both through email and a phone call and hopefully I hear back soon. They responded to my email in exact two weeks so not all of them are hibernating there

ha ha. my wife is not even bothered. she has left it to God. Our son is Canadian and she believes he will take us there some day. I am so nervous and I sing...."sochna kya jo bhi hoga dekha jaayegaa.." yeah you make me miss India more.

Your calculations are wrong! They are processing more applications per day but that does not mean they received them in that day. They are probably opening application received in 1st or 2nd week of Sept (not sure as I haven't been following up lately).

One thing I noticed, and that is backlog is less at the same time Officers are more efficient!
Stop worrying and practice what you preach dear: Be Positive.
You will make it in the cap and when you do I will be here to say "told you so"

I agree with you Farukh....that there are 2 diff teams. One for completeness check, and another for PER and charging. However this does not rule out the fact that there might be a backlog in CAPs updates still.

Take for example 1122. Friends whose appl was rcvd by CIO on 8th July and beyond have got back their applications mentioning the reason as CAP REACHED. But the CIC website updated CAP REACHED data only on 22nd Aug. Similarly with 3152 applications.

So in my mind there is no doubt that the website is lagging behind in their updates. They say so themselves in last paragraph, have you noticed? The backlog in my opinion is about 70 days approx. Do you agree?

if true that the backlog is about7o days, so we can say: the date of cap reached -70 days =the date of last application accepted? for 3131 lets say the ca may be reached by today nov 18, so, nov 18- 70days=about september 10!!!! so, sep10 will be the last applications counted in cap for 3131..... right? and this is what all already agree with, RKC, luckymystery,....

i can only say: vo may conduct random checking, even site verification..., with regards to sss, they can go online and easily see and check if ur claims match...

another thing, just a piece of advise, try to post in english so u can get more response from a lot of our helpful forum mates, cos it's like a congregation of intl applicants and not a lot of them would understand tagalog kabayan under what noc are u? i hope u can send it soon

someone please call up CIC and ask till what date applications are in CAP. that will help
