Selection and Admissibility If your application is eligible for processing, your application will be assessed against the following requirements:
• minimal requirements
• selection factors
• sufficient funds
• admissibility (criminality, security, medical)
• If your score is equal to or greater than the pass mark, your application will be sent to the visa office for further processing.

Here which processing you are talking about, after eligibility which is PER the next step is to transfer file to VO,

So what do you mean by "If your application is eligible for processing, your application will be assessed against the following requirements" and then sent to VO??

Wait till you got your PER. You can add your child once your file is transferred to VO.
No need to worry.

hey dear, Same like my case !!

First of all hearty congratulations to both of you for becoming a parent and getting promotion in real life.......
I applied CIC on 2nd Jul and it recvd at 5th Jul by CIC... When i applied my wife was calculating her last days of her pregnancy.....She gave a birth to sweet ltl boy on 12th Jul... I want to add his name in our application as well.... I got PER on 14th SEP'11..... Meanwhile I applied for Birth cirtificate first and then took PP appointment.... I applied for his passport so by the time file reaches to NDVO, I can apply for Addition of Family member... for the same you need to fill the form again duly signed by you and your spouse seperately (if you applied for you both seperately) and send it to CIC again along with Birth certificates and Passport Xerox.... dont forget to send CAD 150 BD as a processing fee for her..... I am in a process of sending the documents for my infant to CIC by which I can add his name in our application......

just got an email from my visa office, stating that they've received my application already (Oct. 19) , i supposed it's the AOR. Oh my God, Thank you!!! oh next stage now... BEST OF LUCK to all of us!!! ;D ;D ;D

Hi Your Royal Highness. I will google him later and see what he has got. If he is Canadian, he better be ready for some serious competition. I am about to show up in my new state-of-the-art winter coat and make him laugh until he falls flat onto the snow and rolls all the way down from Toronto to permanent exile in Buffalo. hahaha

I don't have a plan B. That is why I was out for the most part of the day. I went to the gym to try to get fit. hahaha. What's a man gotta do? I have my 2nd AOR. More importantly, I have my winter coat. Now all I have to do is fit into it... and then hopefully clear the medicals faster than I can spell I AM GETTING A BIT O-V-E-R-W-E-I-G-H-T.

I WRITE only "request" in my subject

You can simply write "FSW Application Status Inquiry" on the subject line.

But if you want preferential attention, you can write "Brad Pitt & Agelina Jolie visiting CIC." hahaha. I did the same when I wrote my very busy American boss this morning. I got a reply in 2 minutes!

Don't run the joke on CIC. ;D

Yes US dont allow having green card and Canadian PR at the same time, I know somebody who was having green card and later he got canadian PR, but while going to US from Canada, at the US immigration he was asked to relinquish his green card if he wants to keep canadian PR and he had to surrender his US immigration.

Dear Big O,

Your theory might be logical but my posting is true! I do not have the time to stay on this forum all the time just like you and i've been watching all the coments from time to time.
Since I had nothing to say about my application staus because it reached Sydney on 03 August, i had not posted much info., there were other applicants who had their files reviewed on earlier dates so I just watched their opinion and presumtions.
Because my cc was charged, this meant something to share to other July- August applicants and I believed this kind of infromation might help proving something good!
I did not received any AOR, NER/PER from CIO yet, even though on 09 October I wrote an e-mail.
If you consider my posting a BIG LIE, then, I'm sorry to contradict your theory and I will care less for others to find out the truth by not spreading further information on this forum from now on!!!
Only time will prove the truth about all this process and selection of files received before 22 August!!
Good luck to everybody one more time and I believe GOD works in misterious ways!

My application was received on 04-08-2011 for NOC(s) 1122 and 0631 and i strongly believe that am in the CAP as am strongly waiting for my cc to be charged plus a positive eligibility review determination thereafter.

All the best for the rest of the processes for there is no impossibility with God.

Sho, I dont think your statement is correct. You can have dual citizenship too (US and Canada). US government will cancel your GC only if they believe you intended to stay outside permanently.
