just got an email from my visa office, stating that they've received my application already (Oct. 19) , i supposed it's the AOR. Oh my God, Thank you!!! oh next stage now... BEST OF LUCK to all of us!!! ;D ;D ;D

At last I got good news I just received sms from my bank my credit card had adebit on 19/10/2011 which the same day of my birthday...woooo
I hope all to hear good news ....realy I am very happy Iwish to all members of the forum .... ;D

Sho, I dont think your statement is correct. You can have dual citizenship too (US and Canada). US government will cancel your GC only if they believe you intended to stay outside permanently.

There is a senior member's reply on this (having 2 PRs (US and Canada) same time)

I am not just guessing it happened to my close relative just 2 months back, may be they believed that he is going to stay in canada

Hello guys, Im a NOC 1122 applicant, my app reached CIO by 11th of july. So far I got no CC charged or emais from CIO, and I inquired to them by email many times and they didnt answer me....BUT...I also inquired to my local visa office here in Brazil about it...and they inquired CIO about my email and CIO answered them, and they sent me the answer today...here it goes:

Dear Mr. *****,

Please refer to the message below, sent by CIO-Sydney:


"We do have record of this application is awaiting initial assessment by FSW Team 1. Please allow some additional time for the processing of clients file."


Sincerely / Atenciosamente,

Visa and Immigration Section

SO.....if thats the answer of CIO, I think Im in before CAP reached! dont you guys think?

makes me feel like I have received mine already.

As I try and carefully study the Spreadsheet, I can see that CIC is trying hard to keep its ER decision to 3 months or less. I somehow see it when July 18th applicants got a decision on Oct 18th. Another week and SS will tell us the truth.

I am glad to see more members join the thread. It tells us more about the whole process. Really thank you for all the newcomers.

Thanks!!! at least I got a answer, at least I KNOW my app is there, and at least it was not bad news. Nothing like, "his app arrived in reached cap and was returned" So Im really happy about this news because it was a information from CIO to a Visa Office! What you guys think about it!?? Maybe this is a proof that NOC 1122 was not reached in july 8th , as other guys here also got CC charged or other emails confirming initial assessment!

Just wanted to share the good news with forum, I got today my much awaited PER. I was bit nervous and anxious, now I am relaxed. Hope rest of process of immigration goes on smooth as a silk.
