Dr.Hasib can you please put some light on this matter ?? Here some applicant's get negative reply from cic like nish get. Everyone is saying that cap reached date is on 8th july 2011. But according to cic website it's 22nd august 2011. There is lots of confusion here. Why cic misguide other applicant's, if cap reached on 8th july 2011 ????

The cap for 1122 was reached on 8th of july, no doubt about that in my opinion.
There are 100s of apps returned due to cap reached from that date onwards and few exceptions were noted due to the following reasons:
1. After the completness review, the app is counted toward cap however some apps receive Ner and cio might decide to take another one to replace it. This is justified as the "exception" apps that got charged are for july 25th onward i.e. After cio started the er process for early july apps. The apps received on 8-25 july where already on their way hack as cap was reached so they couldn't use them anymore. It is a lucky draw for those late applications i guess.
2. Many of the reported "exceptions" belong to people who have 2-10 posts and all of these posts are more or less the same message on different threads. Accidently, these exceptions are emphasised by other posts from veteran forum members who stood in the past against the idea of of cap reached on 8th of july. In short sentence: some of these posts are BIG fat lies, but others may be true. This is confirmed by the fact that the owners of these posts dissapear and are no where ti be heard of.

Your theory might be logical but my posting is true! I do not have the time to stay on this forum all the time just like you and i've been watching all the coments from time to time.
Since I had nothing to say about my application staus because it reached Sydney on 03 August, i had not posted much info., there were other applicants who had their files reviewed on earlier dates so I just watched their opinion and presumtions.
Because my cc was charged, this meant something to share to other July- August applicants and I believed this kind of infromation might help proving something good!
I did not received any AOR, NER/PER from CIO yet, even though on 09 October I wrote an e-mail.
If you consider my posting a BIG LIE, then, I'm sorry to contradict your theory and I will care less for others to find out the truth by not spreading further information on this forum from now on!!!
Only time will prove the truth about all this process and selection of files received before 22 August!!
Good luck to everybody one more time and I believe GOD works in misterious ways!

My application was received on 04-08-2011 for NOC(s) 1122 and 0631 and i strongly believe that am in the CAP as am strongly waiting for my cc to be charged plus a positive eligibility review determination thereafter.

All the best for the rest of the processes for there is no impossibility with God.

All that I am saying is that some posts are not true, I do not now which ones are true but if I had to guess I would say yours is legitimate (honest opinion) and I posted the logic behind that as well.

Please do not let my post stop you from sharing your experience, your opinions and your feelings. I certainly did not want that. I just shared my opinion, and everyone is welcom to do so!

CIC announces the No of the applications received weekly on the basis of the completeness check which requires 7 to 15 days after the submission of the application not on the basis of eligibility review which requires 60 to 90 days. On this forum a no of applicants are worried about cap, I advise them if cap is not reached to 500 after 15 days of your application reached then your application is in cap except two NOCs 1122 and 3152. So my dear you are safe if cap did not reach after 15 days after the submission of your application but you may receive your PER within 90 days.

What Happens Next
The table below represents the phases of the assessment and processing.
Phase Description
Completeness check Citizenship and Immigration Canada reviews your application to make sure that:
• all required fields in your application forms are complete,
• all required documents are submitted from Document Checklist (IMM 5612), and
• the correct processing fee payment has been made
If your application is:
• incomplete or;
• the occupation you are applying under has reached the allowable limit under category 1,
your entire package (including your payment) will be returned to you with a letter explaining why it is being returned.
Eligibility Review An officer will make an final determination of eligibility of your application to determine whether:
• your application qualifies for processing under one of the two categories described in the Ministerial Instructions
If your application does not qualify for processing under the Ministerial Instructions you will be sent a letter that:
• provides the reason why your application is not eligible for processing
• confirms that a refund for the processing fee will be issued
Selection and Admissibility If your application is eligible for processing, your application will be assessed against the following requirements:
• minimal requirements
• selection factors
• sufficient funds
• admissibility (criminality, security, medical)
• If your score is equal to or greater than the pass mark, your application will be sent to the visa office for further processing.

hi guys...
I had sent my application to CIC on 19th sept. 2011... it was received by CIC on 26th sept.
at a time of subimision my wife was pregnant. and she delivered a baby girl on 28th eavning. I want my baby to be part of our application as an applicant....but I have already sent the application...so in this case what should I do further to inform CIC about this matter....
I called there call service agent ...but didnt got satisfactory reply,,,,
please advice.
