Thank you so much NKKD.

Yes I wasn't sure too. I mean I thought it would take another 2 weeks to complete CAP, and I would be comfortably in. But they updated 40 applications in just 5 days. That threw me!!!

Oh my dear Highness I just got home and read your wonderful news!!!Can't express my happiness in words. I feel as if I;ve got my own PER :) jUST WANT TO SAY THAT YOU DESERVED IT. Good things always happen to good people. :-*

heyyy Now....thanks a lot buddy. Coz of wishes from friends like you I got this good news yday. Thank you.

And hey...why dont call CIC this evening. I am sure you will get your UCI and File number too. Once s/he gives you that, then ask if they have sent you any mail as per the updates on the system, and also ask when your file will be transferred to your VO. Once you get these details....you practically got PER. So do it today and flood this thread with your good news!!!

My dear Ravi,
You are sad but you don't know it !
Saying goes, you don't know what you have until you loose it, but I also say that you don't know what you are missing until you find it.

Trust my friend, i've been in ur shoes and it may seem like you are free but there is nothing more liberating than the smile of the woman you love as she looks at you or the sprinkle in her eyes when you make her laugh.

I hope that one day you will find someone who will make you feel like that.

Dear Friends!

Pleae tell me one thing. The cap count increases as they recieve an application or after they open it and if its possitive they cap count is increased.

I am confused.

Rgds

Zee

Zeecee...an application is first rcvd and checked for completeness (as in if all your docs etc have been enclosed and you have signed all your forms etc), then your BD/CC, as the case may be, is sent for encashment. Once it is encashed you are counted towards the next CAP update. After that your appl is sent to the ER dept where they scrutinise the application and docs further and give either a PER (Positive Eligibility Review) or NER (Negative Elegibility Review). After this the appl is sent to the respective VO.

Trust this clarifies your query. Otherwise please feel free to ask.

Cheers
