OMGEEE..I WAS SHOCKED TO RECEIVE MY 2ND AOR TODAY FROM CANADIAN EMBASSY MANILA..i THOUGHT MY FILE WOULD ARRIVE AT MANILA BY NEXT WEEK..BUT IT WAS SENT TODAY..IM STILL WAITING FOR MY BONUS THIS THURSDAY..BUT THANK GOD COZ MY FILE WAS RECEIVED SAFELY..

A little bizzare why i've not heard from accra. I intentionally called cic few weeks ago and they said once any file leaves sydney to vo, they dont have details of what goes on but as accra is a slow vo as indicated on the processing times, im kinda reluctant contacting them and since my address in canada, my thougths went to snail mail delay or something. dont know what to do.

I dont want to jump shooting the vo an email yet.

Pls, any suggestions all seniors in the house? would be much appreciated.

Latest Update from My Bank : Bank Draft still unpaid till today.​

Dear Spicey, I'm really sorry to hear about your frustrations. Pls dont give up. I agree with other forumites that you should try to find out at which point precisely the file got missing- with the post or cic. Pls keep your hope alive.

On the raging debate about which bd encashment and cap and files being worked on, i dont know if the cic call i just made makes any difference. I'll leave that to seniors to decide.

The lady i spoke with told me that they are currently entering Aug 17th applicants into the database. I asked if I will make it into the noc 3131 cap and she says 'we have no way of knowing that'. Then I just saw Omoba7's post that their application was received Aug 17th, cc encashed Oct 31st and PER Nov 14. CIC is entering 'into database' today applicants from Omoba's date. Meaning the entry into the database is probably a separate activity that happens after or independent of the encashment or PER.

How is it possible that the agent couldnt tell if a file received 2 months back will make it into cap or not? I find that suprising. Anyway, I just learnt, after a 16mins call, that calling doesnt really help in finding out about cap or not.

Before the files are added to database the only people who would know if your fee has been processed or not , for that matter if you are application is counted in cap or not , are the guys at CSU ,they can be contacted at FSW-Sydney-Search-Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca.

The call centre guys have access to limited information. Only after applications are added onto their systems can they be of some help. CIC call center is just like call center of any other company. They will not have information on dates of current completeness checks , ER or caps. What they do first is to identify you, check on their systems & if found just read out the information from the file. They will not know about things which are not punched in on the file.

Disclaimer: The above is just my view & understanding of the process. Others can have different view.

Today i recived NER. I applayed on 22.08 as a industrial pharmacist like a med rep. under noc 3131. The reason was becouse i do not satisfay comisioner with my experience as a pharmacist. Can any one sugest something i can do further more.

so it is cleared that CIO is working on 22th august applicant for pre eligibility review not for compelteness checks , so 22th august applicant,s completeness check was done a long time before and he was in cap a long time before.

E-mail date was 15 Nov 2011 but in letter has been written " we received your application on 14 Nov 2011".
