Hi everybody,

I need help in my case, if you know a lawyer to discuss this please let me know.

I have been sending emails to CIO to ask for my application (NOC 1122 / 11/07/2011). They keep saying that they cannot find my package. Today I got an email saying:

"After a thorough search, we can find no record of our office having received your submission. It is important to realize our office receives hundreds of applications a day in one courier shipment. Due to this volume, we cannot sign for each application individually. The entire shipment is received as one, and one signature is assigned to all items purportedly in that shipment. Unfortunately, we do not have your application."

I just care about my documents and translation copies.. and of course, the bank draft!!

I sent a letter to receive a written response about his.

Sorry to know that your application is not found by CIC. this usually happens to many of the application. but as you say you have received this reply after many emails, and seeing the reply from cic i really feel they are not able to find your application.

first thing you do is that you chek the address on which you have send the application. there are differnet address for sending package through courier and throught normal post and also different address for FSW1 and FSW2.

Once you are through with the adress check, try to contact you courier service and aske them form the proof of delivery.

Once you get that, send your details along with the courier tracking number and proof of delivery to CIC. Do try to send Proof of delivery with the signature of the person who received your package.

i hope after that cic can trace your package.

I think this is ultimate careless .you should write a complain letter to immigration minister of Canada .Also, try to find a compensations lawyer to sue them. I think some lawyers may just ask %60 of compensation sum without get deposit in advance.if you have any contact at Canada ask him for help and use search engine at internet to hire a good lawyer. good luck

My uncle is a canadian citizen ..i claimed 5 adaptability point by providing his status(PP) & residence(Bank stat) doc. But i didn't provided proof of relationship doc (b/cert of my uncle & father) as it was not available ..and didn't provided any alternate doc either as nothing was mentioned abt it(alternate doc) in NDVO checklist..i sud have included it though ..my bad..

congrats to all cc/bd charged and per.
sorry to hear that mark, under same scenario, i included only my uncle's pr card but he's a citizen, didnt occour to me to request his passport or birth cert cos i live with him. my thought was just to include any of the following requested POR on the checklist so, i got per and i hope visa office would not use that against me.
anyways, best of luck!

Hello all

We got PER a week ago, and now we are trying to make a vague plan for next couple of years. One of the questions I'd like to ask is this (seniors please advise too!)...

We are keen to add to our family before heading to Canada, as we'd like to move over early 2013 all going well; since we need time to wrap up a few things here in UK, we can't move beforehand, hence thinking of havign a baby here and not waiting until Canada. I've been reading posts on this forum regarding applicants/spouses who become pregnant during the PR process and usually their visa office advise to put on hold the medicals until baby is born, then fill out required paperwork for newborn, send fees, and all the family get the medicals done at same time (with visa expiry dates linked to med dates).

My concern/query is that if we wait until say July/Aug 2012 when baby is born (then do medicals and submit extra paperwork) and if NOC 1122 is not on list for next year, do you think this would have any effect on us still getting our visas? Or would everything be processed as normal?

Thanks

Scottish K,

Your time of applying is post July'11 (MI3). If/if not 1122 remains on the list of occupations ,will in no way affect your application .
Applications are processed according to the rules in effect at the time of applying. Go ahead with your baby plans. Good luck.

once you have a delivery status sent to you by your courier and the receiver's name with date and time, then it would make it easier to search. make appropriate complain, probably the person that searched didnt search properly or omitted your file or something, if the whole package were signed by one person, then it should be there.
note that some earlier posts on this forum got responses from cic that they've not received their file but "due to large volume of submission" their file must still be on the queue or something like that.
dont take it with levity and dont sleep over it, this cic people cannot be played with any fickleness, reply again with your info, delivery status and all you deemed necessary and cced or mailed straight to a higher authority, then they all gonna get cold feet and fish out your file!

If your courier had the service for signature then it must be signed to get delivered. and even though they took it in a bulk order, the person's name will appear on the whole bulk receipt. i mean it can not go without that.
