Guess i am on CIC's mercy & Almighty's miracle now..

I think so too. My job duties match around 75-85% with those stated in NOC 1122 description but of course, they are written with different words and description. It's not wise to copy-paste job duties from NOC site. Also, I didn't send proof of residency, since it wasn't on Vienna VO checklist. I'm praying and hoping.

You will receive your PER in the following week, don't worry.
mine was encashed on Aug 8, & received my PER yesterday.
As there huge number of applicants for july 4 to july 8, it may takes even 1 week to issue PERs just for one day.

not yet ...my address has been appeared again yesterday...i do not know what is the meaning of that..i think i will receive one of two, per or ner this week.

First, Hello to all.

This is my first post but I have been following this forum for some time now. However, quite admittedly never posted a word as I wanted to post my first post as a good news ...... which of course did not happen.

I applied 2nd July, The application was reached and recieved by Doug on the 7th July under NOC 1122 from Manila VO. My CC got charged on the 9th August and today I recieved the NER . I work at a fairly senior position with one of the Top 5 companies of the world and all I have ever done is Business Management and Project Management. My application was complete with every single document I felt they would ever need.

However my NER said " I was not able to provide enough proof that I have worked in appropriate services/occupations as outlined in NOC 1122".

Not sure what exactly qualifies but was kinda shocked when I saw that.

But I would like to think and hope that I am the only "Not so lucky" guy here and I wish and Pray that all of you all who are waiting for the PER will definitely get that.

I felt that this forum is almost like a family and even though I wanted to be incepted in this family with a Big Bang ( A great news of PER), it turned out otherwise.

However, I would like to believe that this is not the end of the road . may be just a T-Point . I And now whether I choose left or a right, I will have success waiting to recieve me.

Do you believe that destination in Canada where we plan to go , could play any role in selection from CIO people ? as I believe that most or maybe 80% of applicatns noted Toronto/Vancouver, as their future destination , do not you believe that it could add pressure from province authorities side ?
in another way if some one select destination to be Saskatchewan for example which is the coldest area and less population , is it mean they will select him ?mmmmm.

So, NKKD, what are your thoughts on what I just mentioned...about the rush decreasing a bit now?

This could mean that the cap reached update on the website will be in and around first week of Nov 2011.

NKKD. Thank you very much. You are the only one who responded to my anxious query. Your calculation makes solid sense to me....though I don't want to believe it :-(

But do you think the rush will continue till the end...I mean the initial rush? Do you feel that it might slow down a bit now? Now that all the people waiting from last year (as NOC 0631 CAP was also filled by April 19th) have finished filing their applications? Please...please do share your thoughts on this.

All our other Forum friends....any thoughts on this matter? Please do share.

It is possible that the rate at which 0631 applications are received could go down with time which means that it could stay a little longer than Aug 24th as I initially predicted..... I would say a maximum of first week of september.

Alternately,the reduction in cap numbers to 500 will also rush those applicants wanting to apply but have delayed for a long time.

Another reason for the huge initial & expected ongoing rush could also be due to having a friend, colleague or a family member who got a quick response last year under the MI2 and hencce were strongly motivated to apply in a relatively short time.
For ex:- I prepared mine in 6 weeks

Question to the Audience
How many of you members have applied because you know a friend ,relative or colleague who applied last year and got a positive response quickly?

As for me, I saw tihs forum and I was stunned to llok at the time lines for NDVO applicants- 7 months, 8 months etc., and we froze our long pending decision to apply. and started working on it in the second week of june 2011.

Yes you are right, 7th Sep - first PER was issued & 21st Sep first 6th July PER. They took 2 weeks to move from 4/5th July files to 6th July ones. Some files/officers may take longer to complete the review, so even if one is a little behind the timelines vis-a-vis the spreadsheet there's no need to start worrying unless there's a considerable gap between the two timelines (personal vs spreadsheet)

No one can say that except for the staff that signs for the courier of received applications.So please send your complete application asap & stop worrying about the caps.Good Luck

Request you to kindly send me a small detail. I have noticed you seem to maintain all data form CIC. Would you have the dates when CAPs updates were reflected on the CIC website and what were the CAPS data for 0631? I wish to see the progression since July 21st. Thats the idea.
