First, Hello to all.

This is my first post but I have been following this forum for some time now. However, quite admittedly never posted a word as I wanted to post my first post as a good news ...... which of course did not happen.

I applied 2nd July, The application was reached and recieved by Doug on the 7th July under NOC 1122 from Manila VO. My CC got charged on the 9th August and today I recieved the NER . I work at a fairly senior position with one of the Top 5 companies of the world and all I have ever done is Business Management and Project Management. My application was complete with every single document I felt they would ever need.

However my NER said " I was not able to provide enough proof that I have worked in appropriate services/occupations as outlined in NOC 1122".

Not sure what exactly qualifies but was kinda shocked when I saw that.

But I would like to think and hope that I am the only "Not so lucky" guy here and I wish and Pray that all of you all who are waiting for the PER will definitely get that.

I felt that this forum is almost like a family and even though I wanted to be incepted in this family with a Big Bang ( A great news of PER), it turned out otherwise.

However, I would like to believe that this is not the end of the road . may be just a T-Point . I And now whether I choose left or a right, I will have success waiting to recieve me.

Dear RKC

Bro believe it or not , I am checking my inbox in hourly basis since my CC encashed , unfortunately no news yet , I am also following the excel sheet and I was hoping to find something this week , specially that only 5 Hours left and this working week will finish and then I have to wait another two days till CIO people back to work .Waiting is killing me , and I just need to know even if its NER , at least I can move further to Plan B , however no news still good news .

That is very true. Moreover, the PERs are received more or less in the order of which the CC/BD are charged.

Rahul ..if u think ur documentation is upto the mark & given NER is unfair, then seek the clarification from CIC ..go thru the below post to follow guidelines..really helpful..

NKKD. Thank you very much. You are the only one who responded to my anxious query. Your calculation makes solid sense to me....though I don't want to believe it :-(

But do you think the rush will continue till the end...I mean the initial rush? Do you feel that it might slow down a bit now? Now that all the people waiting from last year (as NOC 0631 CAP was also filled by April 19th) have finished filing their applications? Please...please do share your thoughts on this.

All our other Forum friends....any thoughts on this matter? Please do share.

STATISTICAL ANALYSIS

# of CIC working days since 1st July 2011 to 20th Sept 2011 (day of last update) = 20 + 23 + 13 (Jul,Aug,sept) = 56 working days
# of CIC working days since 1st July 2011 to 20th July 2011 (based on CC charged) = 13 working days
# of 0631 complete applications as of 20th Sept = 183
Assuming that CC are charged only for complete applications (some people may contradict on this opinion), avg # of 0631 applications processed per day 183/13 = 14 applications received per day.

Now , 500 - 183 = 317 (remaining applications). At 14 per day, 317 can be completed in 317/14 = 22.6 working days .

Counting 22.6 working days from July 20th , applications received on or before August 22nd will make it into the cap. With an error of plus or minus 2, the cut off date for 0631 could be between Aug 19th- Aug 24th.

Let us wait and watch. I am Sorry guys if I am disappointing anyone .

That's right. Waiting badly for that. We put a note of oncoming CAD on our CC account until 25sept. It now needs to be extended to another two weeks I guess...to be on the safe side. The customer service was very particular to know the expected dates of transaction.

Again, all of those who have not left a note of oncoming CAD transaction with your CC customer service, I recommend you to do so.

Hi Vinod, I so want to believe what you have mentioned in your message. But then, I could not quite grasp how you have calculated. You have calculated 45 days post 20th Sep. But CIC is yet opening only July applications. Please could you spell it out for me further? Lets get some analysis done. It eases the pain a bit!!

Attention NOC 0631 applicants!!!

I could see that on an average CIC receives 7 genuine applications per day under NOC 0631 which will be sent to visa offices for further processing. As of 20 sept, the cap reached at 183 and remaining is 317 to fill the CAP of 500.

So 317/7=45 days
If we start from Sept 20+45 days, that is 10(sep)+31(oct)+4(nov)= 45 days, which means that by Nov 04 NOC 0631 will reach the max cap which is 500.

Therefore, my finding here is still there is hope for sept 01st and 02nd week applications that are reached CIC which may processed by Nov 01st week.
Moreover, the initial rush is not there which strongly support my above working.

This is just a rough assumption, they may vary from time to time. Please correct me if am wrong..

This could mean that the cap reached update on the website will be in and around first week of Nov 2011.
