dear, review my posts again.brebu said:Thanks Lahoree for making my point!
"Any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by: etc etc" is exactly what I mean, everything that is already in English and/or French doesn't need notarization. I hope the matter is settled.

all doc provided as copies in either language, need to be notrised from a notry public or either you can get cetified from other officials as mentioned in EG7.

I believe to be on the saver side it is better you just notorised all copies of your documents before sending to CIO. My immigration agent who is Canadian registered insisted that I notorised all copies which is not original. She also made sure that see sighted the original document viz-viz the photocopies I presented. She has an arrangement with a notary public she works with, so she made sure she did not send anything to the notary public which she did not see the original. I actually misplaced one of my previous employment contract letter but did provide a photocopy, she refused to notorised the photocopy insisting that the requirement of CIC must be followed and will respect to the following as mentioned by Lahoree:
following on the photocopy:
"I certify that this is a true copy of the original document‟‟
the name of the original document
the date of the certification
his or her name
his or her official position or title
his or her signature
So please just avoid any little mistake that can jeopardise all the effort you have put in gathering and submitting you application.

Good luck my friends
question: for Manila applicants, is there an existing manila vo specific checklist? (mvosc) I had been searching for it and I think, from my readings and understanding, there exists none anymore? only the document checklist or 5612 form w/c is 6 pages, pls correct me if im wrong...before July 2011 yes there was MVOSC but for July 2011, no more...jijitipie said:Every visa office has their own checklist..
for eg..in our checklist..it has "manila visa office checklist"..
I think it is written somewhere on the footnote..
so every assessor will base their assessment on the top checklist page of
each applicant's package..
some would require originals/sealed etc..but the other Vo doesnt..
but its still our call..
