Folks ,
I am new to ongoing discussions and learnt a lot.
Can anyone tell me what exactly mean by ''VERIFICATION'' what moment we would come to know that verification phase has been over and how would we be notified about it?

Thanks
Veva

Verification means background check it includes qualification check, experience, etc. On web e-cas if the status turns into "In Process" then verification actually starts and it goes till medical request received. After medical security check will start. This starts when full docs submit to VO. But keep in mind one thing that web e-cas is not reliable sometime. So one should not fully depend on it.

Since July last week my e-cas status is ''RCVD BY VO'' and since then no change todate. When should I expect ''IN PROCESS'' ? How long actually it takes changing from ''RCVD BY VO'' to ''IN PROCESS'' as I sick of finding e-cas status everyday .. PLZ HELPPPPP

Canada1234 can you give me plz ur Skype ID and I would like to discuss and explore things at greter depths.

Sorry for interruption.

My time line is almost same as yours. I believe our e-case will be changed to In-Process between Dec-10 & Jan-10 (as per London VO's pattern from last eight to ten months). Thereby, you really don't bother checking e-case status everyday at least before Dec-10.

Best wishes for you. :)

@ Veva
You can check my timeline in the list maintaining by staralihaider. Its almost same as yours. We can only make guess but nobody is sure that when the staus will be turned into "In Process". I think most of the time CIC don't follow the given timeline and they are very unpredictable these days too. I personally feel after mid of november we can see things moving but keep your finger crossed and in touch with forum.
I don't use skype, but I can assist you on the forum.

Hmmm, What do you mean by ''CIC is unpredictble these days'' ? Dont they follow what they issue or they take less time compared to what they mentione on AOR?
Another question..is it mandatory to conduct Medical in a country where someone had applied from? I work outside Pakistan but applied for Immigration from Pakistan, what if i recieve Medical forms - shall I ahve to go back to Pak for Medical?

I am worried if encounter such situation about which so far i ahve no clue/ Plz advise.

Most of the time CIC don't follow the timeline which they have mentioned on web. The reason is huge backlog and sometime security related issues specially for pakistani people.
You have to complete your medical from the country where you have applied [Pakistan]. CIC has specific designated medical practitioners from where you applied, so you can't send medical from any other country. You have to come back to pakistan when you will receive the medical request.

hi veva, as regards to medical i am sure you can do it in your current residence country , i had same situtation and when i asked my lawyer he replied me that you may take medical in any country as long as they are appointed doctors...but i manage to get back to london...

you better contact your local dmp ......

Application pack must reach to CHC within 120 days. So, keep a margin of at least 15 days, that may be taken by the post office guys (or just in case of any emergency).

@ Waqqas - The best way sending docs safely would be DHL outside PK as post through GPO sometimes go to bin rather reaching Nova Scotia or London as I am the victim of GPO-Lahore so you can trust me. DHL takes 3 days @ max providing online consignment tracking No. on top of it,You may also get the acknowledged with signature of person on the recieving end.

@ Sultanali and Canada1234 : I am still between devil and deep sea and dont know whether to get through medical from Home Country or the Country of residence. Can you both Please add something more on it? would be happy if the arguments are referenced. I visited CIC web detailing instructions on Medical but remained resultless : (((

To remove the ambiguity the best way is to email CHC London through case specific enquiry.

If you are sending your documents from Pakistan DHL and gerry's fedex would be a best option. They will deliver your documents to London in 3 working days & to CIO sydney in 7 working days, moreover they are safe & secure too. Kindly don't go for ordinary/registered post. Your documents might lost on the way.
For 120 days time I would recommend send at least 1 month before and ofcourse through reliable courier.
