JOB Offer: How to get Valid Job offer at least one year after PR acceptable by CIC

Hi,

I am currently working in Canada on LMIA Exempt and wish to claim 50 points in Express Entry under 'Offer of Employment'.

In CIC web site, it has been written that:
"have a valid job offer from that employer for at least one year after we issue your permanent resident visa
"
But when I discuss with my HR manager, then she replied that Offer Letter has fix format and she can only change the dates. But as mentioned in CIC portal: Valid Job offer at least one year after PR

which will not be part of offer letter (as the company doesn't change the standard format of Offer Letter).

What option I have in front of me?

1) Can I get the separate letter from the company (not the offer letter) that may state that " Company will support my employment through immigration process" or something like that? will CIIC accept this letter?


2) Can I also take this letter from my manager instead of HR dept?

Can you be more specific about your LMIA exemption (ITC?) - not all are eligible.

No, "through the immigration process" is not enough - it has to be for at least one year AFTER you immigrate.

2) Can I also take this letter from my manager instead of HR dept?

Yes.

Sorry, typo - ICT, intra company transfer, good.

So... to meet the requirements for the "valid job offer" points -
1) You must have already worked in Canada for at least one year
2) You must also have a letter offering future employment (duration of at least one year, or "permanent" ) if you obtain permanent resident status.

Note that the job offer letter is in addition to the letter of reference - the letter of reference testifies about the completed experience...

My friend had:

3 years of PGWP
After expiry he applied extension on the basis of AINP (Not on PR file number), He got closed work permit with employer stated on work permit. (NO LMIA)

He worked for that employer 6months on PGWP and 6 month until now on Closed employer stated WP.

Can he claim 50 points for offer of employment/arranged employment ?[/

AINP does not offer to apply PR through Express Entry. If he extended his work permit through AINP, that means he was nominated by AINP.
He should've in PR process on paper-based application. He shouldn't be in Express Entry anyway.

It is the same with the regular job offer letters. It is usually stating company information such as contact email, phone number, address,
, your job title, wage, duties, job offer starting date, ending date if not permanent, title and name of person signing, your sign, and date.

At least 1 year after PR means your position is temporary. Otherwise, it must be permanent.

However, IRCC wants to see the statement "permanent position" or the ending date of the job offer.

Frankly, I would advice to get a permanent job offer.

He already applied paper based six months back.

Technically, he may claim 50 points if he is eligible for other requirements.
"2. covered by an agreement between Canada and a province or territory. This includes “significant investment” projects."

But, duplicated applications can cause delays in the applications, and PNP program can cancel the nominee certificate or refuse the application
if the PR applications are duplicated.

The purpose is to control the number of PR applicant. If he applies again in Express Entry, he is taking double spots, which IRCC won't be glad.

Since AINP only offers paper based applicaiton and he is already in PR application process, he should wait for the result.

I am not sure about that.
But I am sure that he should wait for the paper application.

No company in canada gives the Permanent offer without the PR. And as per your suggestion , I need permanent offer from Canadian company before PR to claim 600 points. This is kind of chicken - egg problem. Please suggest.
