Hi Trivedi,

I have applied for a visitor visa for my in-laws on 17th March and it was refused on 28 March based on the following reasons.

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/SOR-2002-227/section-179.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave Canada, based on the following factors:
• Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable).
• The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay, given the details you have provided in your application.

I have mentioned they have unmovable assets such as farm land, rental properties, and commercial plots a total value of 300k CAD that require their attention
I have shown funds of about 30K CAD in my Canadian bank and indian bank account
The purpose that I stated that my wife requires her parents' help during pregnancy.
We both are permanent residents, and I am the sponsor, I have a job

I request your input on how my application is different from yours, and it will help to get approved in the near future. Your comments are highly appreciated! thank you

I'm in a similar boat. My FIL's visitor visa was also rejected around the same timeline and the reasons stated was just that "the purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay, given the details you have provided in your application." Going to request the GCMS notes. What else should I do?

In similar situation. Applied my parent's visa on 26th of March. Received refusal for both of them on 9th April. Stating:

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/SOR-2002-227/ section-179.html). Both of my parents are working. I provided all the account they have funds in including the investments, CA certificates for property evaluation as well as Gold they own. Me and my husband both are employed and explained that it is me and my husband who are going to bear all the expenses. We showed 80k in total in our bank accounts.

I do not understand why they have stated the financial situation and inconsistency with the details give for their temporary stay.

Hello,

I have applied TRV (Inland) for my spouse, it's been almost 14+ weeks, and there hasn't been any update yet. We raised multiple webform requests, and there has been no update on those yet. Due to a family emergency, she went to India, waiting for TRV so she can re-enter.

So she applied and left. Did she inform IRCC that she left and transfer file? What is her status in Canada? Also take into account the 30 days for passport stamping.
