I'm not too familiar with GCMS notes or how to apply but I've seen it mentioned a few times in threads. Have you looked into it /considered it?

No, I don't want to hold up my application at this time, it's within normal processing times. We only just applied in December. I just question if it will ever even show up for us, as I've read posts from the past that Paris VO is not generous in providing AOR2.

Ordering the gcms notes would not hold up your application.

I have read otherwise in some posts which lead me to that conclusion... but in any case I don't really want to worry about GCMS 3 months in, anyhow.

PA residing in USA but citizen of India. Which VO (approximately) would our application be transferred to? Ottawa, New York or New Delhi?

I don't think that requesting the notes will delay your application. I think it is done by a separate section that just pulls what is on the computer databank. It shouldn't do anything to the processing time.

I dont know why IRCC is completely silent about my application.
I got decision made on my sponsor application on 24-02-2021. And no emails since that time. After calling 2 days ago, I found out they approved it in February.
Now for permanent residence application ecas shows Application Received which I suppose means it got forwarded to visa office and again no emails.

So in ECAS the permanent residency application has just changed from In Process to Application Received. I am taking this to mean that it was received at the Accra Visa Office...

Do you know which threads? Can you post a link or two? I am really curious about that because I was going to request them based on people saying you should do so about every 2 months or so.

Ordering GCMS notes does not hold up your application. Requests are handled by another department! Order them :)

That is basically what I said above, but I wanted to read what his*marty had read to see why they would say that.

You have a long wait ahead... don't expect much communication after SA, BIL and MR.

If I come across them again I will share, but I have read hundreds of threads and thousands of posts.... :/
