I’ve seen a post in one of the Facebook groups that he received his AOR on June 7th and he applied online on Jan 10th(ish). So hopefully they’re picking up on the online applications.

How come the applications suddenly slowed down? some online applicants from Dec 2020 receive test invites months ago and no test invites sent for January 2021 yet? did they slow down again?

Just checked my process and it has an update from June 7th inviting me for the citizenship test (my wife got it, too, as we are in the process together). It's schedule to be done between June 25th and July 15th. But I didn't get any email or letter with more information.

I have a question. Do we have to return our Indian passports before we apply for a Canadian one or we can do it after applying also? please advice.

FINALLYYYY!!!

I just received my AOR literally right now. I applied (online) on January 8th, 2021. I’m kinda flabbergasted because today is Sunday, didn’t know IRCC processing centres worked on weekends. Can’t wait for the next step
