Oh, you’re asking what is in my tracker? All are still in process except the exam and oath. Are you saying that you can't check your status yet? If you create an account you can see the progress of each section (Background, language, test etc.)

Are you able to access eCAS? Earlier online applicants were not able to access it.Our online application is “in process” status today.

Unfortunately, no. I just tried today. Actually I was checking it for a couple of days before they’ve sent the new tracker.Oh, you’re asking what is in my tracker? All are still in process except the exam and oath.
Oh ok, so you are referring to In 'Progress' status in New system, not In 'Process' status in eCAS?Unfortunately, no. I just tried today. Actually I was checking it for a couple of days before they’ve sent the new tracker.
Yes. In progress in the new tracker. Not in eCAS.Oh ok, so you are referring to In 'Progress' status in New system, not In 'Process' status in eCAS?
I know its confusing.
That’s a generic response from the web form. I submitted a query a day after reviewing all the information submitted via online application and I received the same. You just need to patiently wait for the AOR as it took us 4 months to receive it from the date of submission.Hi Everyone - I applied Online almost 2.5 weeks ago and raised a web form just to make sure that the online application went through. I did receive submission confirmation email from them. I got the following response from them:
Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
We verified the information you provided and can confirm that your application is not available in the system yet.
Due to COVID-19, IRCC is experiencing processing delays and we can't give accurate processing times for most types of applications. Our ability to review and process applications is also being affected.
Rest assured that we are making all the necessary efforts to finalize applications as soon as possible.
I am not sure what they mean by not available in the system yet since it is an online application and shall be in their system as soon as it is submitted. Is it normal for them to not find the online applications in their system?
Their email also says the following:
Important
- If they have already applied on paper, they should not apply online.
- If they have already applied online, but have not yet received their acknowledgement of receipt letter/email, they shouldn't submit a subsequent application by mail or send a copy of their electronic application to the responsible office.
Do you have AOR now and when did you submit web form query? I believe u submitted application in January rightThat’s a generic response from the web form. I submitted a query a day after reviewing all the information submitted via online application and I received the same. You just need to patiently wait for the AOR as it took us 4 months to receive it from the date of submission.
Call the IRCC call center at around 8 AM local time. Get an agent on the line. Tell him/her "I'd like to know my application number since I've not received an AOR". Then provide UCI/DOB and other details that the agent might ask. This option might work. Doesn't matter if you don't get an AOR (several September / October applicants never received an AOR but they called IRCC and asked for their application numbers). Once you get the application number, you can go ahead and register on the New Citizenship status Dashboard and check your status from there.1-Jan-2021 Online Applicant and waiting for AOR. It's so frustrating but I can only laugh!!!
Sent webform (obviously I was not hopeful of getting specific reply but still tried):
Hi Team, I applied online for grant of citizenship on 1st January 2021. I haven't received AOR yet after 5.5 months.
I understand online citizenship application is new and is in testing phase and COVID-19 is impacting the processing time and IRCC is working on processing applications as quickly as possible. I also understand each application is different but all I am asking is an update or at the least AOR as I am still waiting for my AOR for almost 5.5 months now where as IRCC is processing paper applications submitted in the week of March 16, 2021.
In case you are not able to find my application in GCMS, (as I submitted online and haven't received AOR) I am attaching copy of online submitted application as proof of my submission.
It would really help receiving a response with reference to my application/situation and not the generic reply that wait for AOR and pandemic is impacting and IRCC would contact you if additional information is needed and there are ways to check status of my application online etc. as I understand all that and I am contacting you after checking and considering all those situations and progress/timeline of citizenship applications mentioned by IRCC.
Thanks.
Reply from IRCC As expected, generic reply! (Is my English so bad that they can't understand? do I need to appear for IELTS again? )
Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

It seems like this is their new generic response for any inquiries about online applications. I do hope that you simply didn't get the email from them. Give them a call tomorrow and hear what they say.1-Jan-2021 Online Applicant and waiting for AOR. It's so frustrating but I can only laugh!!!
