Guys, people who applied recently for citizenship (paper application) can please let me know what are the documents that need to be submitted along with citizenship application. My case is, I am planning to start preparing documents and start applying in another 1 or 2 weeks for me, my spouse and daughter (9 yr old). We are Canadian PR and Indian National.Please advise.

I am going to submit my application in few days. I have question regarding tax filling for 2020. Answer should be:
Tax filed? NO Required to file? YES

Is this correct? Is there any problem with not filling tax and submitting an application?

Hi, are you filling out a paper application? I am having trouble with adding info in the tax year section of the table. I downloaded the form again but I am not able to enter the years in the table. Do the tax years auto-populate?

I am not quite sure but it looks like online application processing time is pretty fast. Hopefully, our paper applications receive AOR soon

Chances are extremely low because AORs for Online applications are slow as compared to physical applications for Dec 2020 applicants.

Online applicants beyond Dec 10th delivery dates haven't received invitations yet but physical applicants with Dec 31 already received the AOR based on tracker.

Moreover it looks like resources used for Online applications are very small because there's difference of approx. 4-5 days from previous one for receiving AORs.

Yes, the test invites are faster for online applicants but the data is really small and could be just for trial purposes.

Ya man. Let's hope so looks like they've picked up a little pace with all the applications after September/October. Hopefully covid situation gets better so that they can use more staff at the processing centers.

Hi All,

I want to inform you all that I have received my AOR email for Canada Citizenship application. And hope all the January 2021 applicants who submitted their paper applications would get the AOR's soon.

And I have few questions regarding the Citizenship test,

Do I have to start preparing for the Citizenship test right away?
How much time do we have to prepare for the test? And
Do we have an option to choose a test date ?
