I’ve just received the test invitation email, attached to this email is also a request letter asking for the scanned pictures of all the passports held during my eligibility. The email came from Winnipeg, although I submitted my application from Calgary

That's a good sign. By scanned pictures of all the passports do you mean all the pages or just the first and last page of the passport.

No, I just got update on online tracker. Still awaiting for actual email.

Just got the test invitation for a test window between September 3 and September 23. AOR: 7th July. Just a notification not an email, not sure if they want passport copies yet as I didn't get the email.

Usually they ask for all pages for all passports/travel documents for 5 years. Should be PDF format of not more than 5 MB

By the way - regarding requested passport pages - do they provide any kind of feedback (confirmation) ? Since your have only 14 days to send these passport pages . Once I have sent them several days ago I have not received any confirmation that they have received it.

Is it normal to get a test invite while the background verification is still "in progress"?

I believe it is normal to happen, background check could be completed after a few days, or they could ask for fingerprints. So it depends. Hope that helps

Kinda surprised, just opened my tracker rn, new update. Aug 26th/27th new update came in with test invite, scheduled for test between September 3-23, 2021 -

No email yet. Now the only thing is, I'm currently out of the country, though ill be back on the 20th. Kinda wanna contact ircc and just say I wanna do it abroad so I can do it earlier... or should I just come back and do it
