May I ask any tips for preparing the test?Passed the test late in the evening on 23 Aug (20/20), results are reflected today as 24 Aug update.
Discover Canada is the main resource. Read the entire book at least once.May I ask any tips for preparing the test?
In addition to great sources of info from @rajkamalmohanram I would add this:May I ask any tips for preparing the test?
AFAIK, unless the question and answers are prepared by the program team memebers who are sleeping, i can strognly say that ambiguity is always avoided in every exam, in the sesne if the total MP's are 308 in the Book and the updated data for the # of MP's are 338, other than the pratice papers online( i strognly say they do not know the Pattern of the exams) can use both answers on the paper likeIn addition to great sources of info from @rajkamalmohanram I would add this:
1. carefully read the book at least once, noticing and marking in the book dates, persons and facts
2. after that install some decent testing application (not the free ones with few questions and lots of ads) . usually that costs few $$
3. pass tests in the application multiple times so that you could see where are your weak areas
4. read these parts of the book to improve scores
5. make more tests so that your score in each test would be at least 17 (better 18)
6. you are ready for the test
These apps aren't some sources of "secret" questions but rather smart questions based on the book, since the book is the only official source. You may train yourself without apps, but it is way easier with them.
The only question for me is how to answer to the questions that are outdated in the book (e.g. regarding population, number of electoral districts etc). Fortunately I did not have such questions, but I am not sure what to answer if for example the book says that there are 308 MPs and in fact there are 338 since 2013.
