1.If i have completed 3 years in canada but my kid 3 years old have completed 1.5 years in canada , can i still apply for him with me at the same time or he has to complete 3 years in canada to apply ??
2.Is ielts test required while applying for citizenship or how to prove language profieciency ??

Read in the previous post which mentioned that Mostly applications received after jan 14th are not processed yet And there will be a delay on all process due to covid19.

Hello! Here’s hoping everyone is keeping safe, and staying healthy during this pandemic. Quick question: how long before anyone got their Discovery Canada in the mail? Or do we even get it in the mail? Because I can download the whole book from the IRCC website. Anyway, the reason I’m asking is because I got my AOR on 15th March, and along with it was the notification saying they’ve sent me a copy of said book. And it’s now almost end of April. Should I wait for it in the mail, or simply go ahead and print it out myself? TIA.

Better to download. I havent seen anyone receiving it by mail. Its says the same in my ecas but i also didnt get it by mail

My receive date is also 20th jan. I received Aor on 12th March.

The book they sent is the pdf linked. If you want to order a free physical copy, you have to do it yourself. It takes 2 weeks to ship. You can google how to order one. That said, it may take longer these days. Much longer.

My application was delivered on Jan 13, 2020 and still have not received AOR yet.. But there are applications of forum members who received AOR with application delivery after Jan 13.. I guess it really depends on lot of reasons & may be on who is processing your application and from March last week, i have not heard of anyone receiving AOR.

I am sure they meant link to download or PDF. I ordered via mail. You have to specifically go on the website and order the paper copy after providing your mailing address and it takes 2 weeks or less to receive mail.

I am in the same boat. Application sent on January 15, and delivered with signature on January 16. And to this day no AOR. I see in the tracker that quite a few people received their AORs in March. Not sure if I just wait, it’s been over 4 months already... Any suggestions?

To me, there is no one get AOR in March. No one gets AOR after Jan 15th.
