the number that's shared on google is only automated call. Does not lead to any one specifically

Hi All,

I'm feeling led to create a community of new immigrants. This group has and is giving me so much, and has made me believe this world to be a better place.
Each one of us got here to help one another, this group gave me hope when I had none at all, and literally met some God sent people.

I know for many it's PPR, then COPR, and landing. But then, what? How to sustain your life in Canada? Does one need to start from scratch? How to find a job? Make a living? Everything before and everything in between.
I am not even sure if what I'm proposing is going to be a success, but it's a worth a try. We can reunite through the below group and offer support to each other even after we land.

Hi @legalfalcon just received a ghost email stating that the proof of settlement funds has changed for 2022.
Also it says, “You may have to update your Express Entry profile to prove you have the required funds. If you do not have sufficient funds, your profile will be removed from the Express Entry pool.

Please review the changes and update your Express Entry profile if these changes affect you.“
Please let me know if I need to make changes to my profile and share the documents upfront or wait for a request of documents to show on my profile.

It is not applicable to applications that have already been submitted. It will be applicable to all applications that are yet to be submitted.

We’ve updated the table that shows how much money you need to settle in Canada. To stay eligible, you may need to update your settlement fund numbers in your Express Entry profile. The update must be done no later than June 8, 2022.

Updating your profile doesn’t change the date and time that we received it, so you’ll keep your rank if you’re in a tie-breaker situation.

Hi legalfalcon, it's now been over 80 days since my PPR email and I still have not received the login to the portal to upload my passport scans and pr photos and I'm starting to feel hopeless. I sent them a webform about this on February 8th, received a response on April 4th basically saying "We verified the information you sent and forwarded it to the responsible office, we will let you know if further information is required" but I never sent the docs in that webform I just told them I'm in Canada and require a portal link.

I even got ahold of the phone support after being on hold for nearly 2 hours and the agent didn't seem to know what portal I was referring to and only emailed me generic docs on how to upload documents. Their incompetency to even be able to send a simple link has me at my wit's end. Please, what do I do? Should I just mail everything out to Ottawa or Los Angeles directly or will that cause more confusion?

I m in the exact same situation, I received PPR on April 14 and sent webform informing that we are in Canada.. havnt got any response, we tried calling many times, they just cut the call saying all agents are busy. Feeling very hopeless after waiting for so long

My dependent's application is in this status as of April 13. No ghost updates yet. As per recent trends it's taking 7 -21 days.

Did your dependant get the passport yet?

Did you raise webform as your case is processed in Canada or outside ? I raised it as my webform as in Canada since my vo is cpc Ottawa

Hello I am in Paris, France I send it out tuesday and VFS GOT IT on Wednesday send it out to IRCC on thursday and got it back on Monday. I was quite surprised but how fast it went. I am doing my landing this Friday and will share with you all my experience.

Go to your home bank branch and ask for a 'cheque certife' aka certified check or money order, it's pronounced shek cehtife.
In the name of Paris VFS. Make sure that you check their webiste
