Did anyone else on here apply under Family Class while in Canada? i.e your partner is currently living with you in Canada but applied in the Outland (Family Class) stream? My partner and I did this because his current IEC visa will expire in April and he wanted to go home to visit family (this would have jeopardized an Inland application as far as we read).
For anyone curious, this was the third option listed on the Document Checklist:
"I am currently living in Canada, and I am applying under the Family Class (not the Spouse or Common-Law Parter in Canada Class). I understand I may be convoked into attending an interview at a visa office outside Canada."
Our application was received by courier at the Sydney, NS office on January 18, 2019. Haven't heard anything yet. Hopefully all our AOR's get sent out shortly!
