I totally understand. My application was delivered to Sydney, Nova Scotia on January 11th and I haven't heard any news. Granted my husband and I used a representative but they said they would forward every email they receive.

Linking is more of a nice to have than a necessity as you can see status changes such as medical passed and background checks in progress.

Do you still have copies of your application? The birthplace is usually the easiest to use and should match exactly how you inputted it in your application. Some people have reported success with placing a space before or after the birthplace. You get 5 attempts every 24 hours so it's worth a shot.

Failing that you can send a webform off to CIC and request technical help:

Ya, I saved all the completed PDFs and referred to it when trying to link. Guess I’ll try the space and see if that helps. Crazy how difficult it is to link the application.

Just got Medical Request today (March 1, 2019)!

But I still haven't received the instructions for the Biometrics which I'm getting worried about.
Do we get this through e-mail or through GCKEY message?

In spreadsheet under column of " PA visa office" ,many applicant mentioned Sysdny,Nova Scotia but it should be PA' s current residence visa office.

Kindly correct it so that all get correct information.

How can someone check their ecas without receiving an AOR? My husband and I used a rep so CIC won't be contacting us directly. Can I call IRCC directly and if so will they tell me if my application was received and give me the identification number?

Did everyone who received their AOR already mail their outland application to the Sydney, Nova Scotia office?

I got our Medical Request but PA has work for the next 2 weeks and won't be able to do the Medical until possibly after.
Do you think this will significantly delay the process??
