I’m going to call them to make sure my my passport will expire on 12.28 (less than 6 months) will be fine. In the letter, They mention “to avoid complications with international travel, it is recommended that your passport(s) be valid for at least 6 months”, but I have already been in Canada now and no need to travel.

Raised Web Form on 11 Aug and got reply today:

They will contact you if further information is required or if a decision is made on your application.

This is first of the two mails that they will send. This is to acknowledge that your request has been forwarded. Now an agent from the respective visa office will most likely send you one of the two emails: in queue waiting for review by an officer OR under review and requires additional verifications.
This email will take another week or so.

No. You will find out your VO in the second email automatically.

Still waiting, no progress at all, stuck at ip1 with mp. 7 months already. Called cic and the agent said Review Required, anyone knows what it is? Is it bad?

TBH, that’s the only part I could think about after I knew my eligibility failed. But no one could tell at that time (or even now) cuz I didn’t have my noted (it didn’t mention why either in my first notes)...

I submitted through Web Form.

I'm a Feb AOR, but thought I would repost my findings from a recent email to Ralph Goodale as it may be of interest to you guys.

"OK, I received a response from Ralph...and learned some things.

1. They keep tabs on who requests information (they just pasted their response from a few weeks ago).

2. They told me I could request an update in November...so you can request an update after 3 months from your previous request.

Shame they wouldn't check my file again, but can't really complain."

Thanks, I really hope so! Robyn says I should expect "notifications and instructions in the coming weeks" which led me to believe I may be in for a wait! I'll accept that though.

I have the same situation my eligibility is review required since a month have ordered GCMS notes... god knows where is it stuck
