Hey guys I need your help,

the embassy of my country sent me an email for an interview and requesting to bring with me my original passport in addition of the below documens:

*Photos from civil marriage and marriage celebration

* Evidence of cohabitation

* Evidence of ongoing communication between PA and SPR

I have photos of my marriage and evidence of ongoing communication between me and my sponsor(wife), but what about the evidence of cohabitation? we do not live together since my wife is in Canada and I live in Lebanon, so my question is what evidence to submit proving cohabitation between me and my wife (sponsor) ?

Thank you so much for your help

Hello, I mean if you don't live together you need to send a letter explaining why you can't provide this information but mention that you guys lived together in the past (assuming you have) even though you have mentioned

It only shows up on CIC and not on ecas.
I heard this is the case as well. They only notify you in your status page when your background check goes in progress. The status page is available if you ever linked your application to a CIC account.

Hi JoshVesh,

Thanks for your reply. I have also sent my docs to the same address. Just wondering, it has been a quite long time since you sent your PCC to NVDO. Did you try to call CIC and find out if the additional document has reached the file or did you apply for GCMS notes or did the status in you GCkey change from 'additional doc required' to 'not need at this time'. How do you know the additional doc has been attached to your file?

Thanks.

What does it shows under: Additional Documents line on GCKEY account for you?

Hey all,
So i called this morning and just asked to see where out application was at. He said it was still in mississauga and I asked if there would be a reason why it's still there since we haven't heard anything for three months. He said the eligibility is being processed and then it would go to Ottawa.
.. so it seems like Mississauga is doing some of the back end work because of the backlog.

My husband got an e-mail to send a scan of his passport 2 days ago and got a decision made today. We were never asked for an interview or anything that didn't seem normal, so assuming it's a positive decision, hopefully.
