Hello everyone.
I have queries regarding my application. According to the ECas, application was received Jan. 3, 2017. Processing of application started Jan. 30, 2017. Medical results have been received as well. Then May 30, i received an email from Manilimmigration about pre arrival services with my own uci in it. Have i missed some emails? I havnt received my ppr yet.

Review of eligibility --------------------------We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results------------------You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents---------We do not need additional documents.
Interview------------------------------------------You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics----------------------------------------We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check-----------------------------Not applicable
Final decision------------------------------------Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has made.

My "Background check" changed from: "Your application is in progress. The next step is to conduct a background check." to "Not applicable.".

Does anyone knows what does that mean ??

Buddy you are everywhere!!! Do some research by your own. No pain no gan. Everything that you needed is in www.cic.gc.ca If you need to see in details please check country specific requirement from online tool. It has everything from general to complete package and detailed instructions eg how to fill up the forms. Hope your question answered??

Tomorrow will be one week since receiving DM. I thought we might get the passport request by today, but there's been no word. I hope they don't make us wait too long.

I have not received any word from CIC since March.
My application was received on January 27th.
AOR1 on Feb 15th
Sponsorship approval received February 28th.
Medicals done upfront. Passed.
Interview not needed.
All I'm waiting on is my background check. The line on background check recently changed to, "Your application is in progress. The next step is to conduct a background check" to "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check."
Does this mean I'm any closer to being approved? I know that the average processing time is 12 months but it seems like a lot of people here who sent theirs around the same time have already been approved and I'm starting to get really anxious.

I think this is just a waiting game for you now. I noticed a lot of people will get their Background check notice changed and then get the DM the day after. So you really don't get the background check change over because it's already done.

We already sent the Schedule A last March and we received a confirmation that they have received the documents and attached to our application.

OK, some further insight from our application: our GCKey never updated the line for additional documents, even after we received the final approval. So, we received the request for schedule A, uploaded it, they received it.... Still today even after the final decision has been made, it still says additional documents are required. If you haven't gotten any other requests then maybe this is the same for you and it just never changes.

Regarding the incorrect status/request changes some of you are seeing in your MyCIC accounts - the GCKey sign-in page currently has the following message posted:

We are currently experiencing very high traffic on our online services. You may have difficulty accessing them. We are working to resolve this issue.

• If you are unable to submit a document on time as a result of the technical difficulties, try again over the next few days. If you are concerned about missing your deadline, submit the requested documents using the IRCC Webform.
• You may see an incorrect application status asking for a medical exam or additional documents. If you actually need to send any documents or do a medical, you will see a message in your account and a letter explaining what you need to do.

How was it for u? My application is in Srilanka visa office since April but background check line on mycic keeps saying " the file is in process and next step is to conduct background check".
