Ok, I just had a third line:

We started processing your application on March 21, 2017.

I have a feeling that's it's been a very long time since they said they sent it to Paris VO (which was on February 1, 2017).

Am i the only one in this case?

They actually started processing mine right away after they received it.

Can someone help me.?
My situation was, i received my AOR1 but NO SA yet.
In ecas it both said In PRocess. But my file had been transfer to manila. Im worried about my Sponsor Approval... Is there someone, same as mine??

I am in the same boat....no SA yet.....How do you know that your file was transferred to Manila.

Even though we're still waiting for one of the papers Ottawa requested to come in the mail (we're hoping this week!), they've started the background check, so they must be happy with what we've submitted so far.

After the slow start it's so nice to see things moving along! :)

Good news for you! I hope it carries on as fast as it is for you! Did you submit with the new application file?

And are you talking about AOR2? Meaning that the Paris VO is working on your file?

Hey all, just joined the thread. New to the forum.

I'm from Toronto, Ontario and I filed my wife's application on March 10th to the Mississauga office. They received it on March 13th. I still haven't received any confirmation from their side so I'm assuming it takes a while before they open your file and send you a UCI number or even just a confirmation. How long did it take everyone else to receive confirmation of receipt?

Check the January spreadsheet in my sig to get a sense for January applicants. There's likely a March applicant thread somewhere (and if not, start one!) where you can share info. It took about 2 weeks from my receipt to e-mail AOR (which went to my gmail junk folder, btw, so check there!)

Here is the thread for March applicants. You might want to post there.

Hello,

Just to update also, I received SA on March 6th. File transfer was on March 13th. So next step will be AOR2. eCAS still not showing In Progress. From looking at the Timelines of applicants from MCVO spreadsheet, it's been taking an average of 1 to 2 months to receive AOR2 in the last year. Fingers crossed that it will be sooner rather than later.

Hoping for fast timelines for everyone here!

If you have option C for 2016, why don't you include the notice of assessment as well? Print the notice of assessment from the website and include it. It would not hurt.

:( I guess some were lucky to hear from the MCVO in less than 2 months. Hope you get your AOR2 soon!

Been waiting for AOR 2 since Feb 01 when my file got transferred to MVO. I have a theory that they send batches of applications to Mexico VO every 2 months or so. So you might as well get AOR 2 at the same time Klove and I get it. If that's the case, maybe they wait until a minimum number of applications is reached to send them, no idea.

Sure as hell it doesn't take long to send a package from Canada to Mexico, even if they are using the slowest and cheapest service which is probably Canada Post International.

The average for the third line in ECAS for MVO applicants (this is considered AOR2) is about 60 days but looking at the Mexico City Spreadsheet, you can see a few getting it as soon as 1-3 weeks, the vast majority get them anywhere from 50-80 days long!!

Let's hope my theory holds and we all get AOR 2 next week or so!

Been a little MIA on the thread and I come back and see people getting their PPR!
Congrats to Barch88 and Sirbill !!
Ottawa is being super quick
