So, I wanted to butt in here. I have been working on a application to hopefully track (and let people manipulate data) better.

I mentioned it back in 2015:

I finally have it working (display) and imported January's applications.

What all do you guys think?

I just get a username/password authentication page. What values should I use here?

Any more SA guys ?

Still waiting.

But y'all already knew that. :P

I was looking at the tracking spreadsheet and noticed "Address Change in ECAS" has a column of its own. What is that for, and what effects on the application timeline occur if your mailing address change in the middle of the application process?

My web application is available for updating.

If you would like to have access to update your info, PM me.

As an additional feature I was able to bang out today, you can filter by sent time in the address.

Please help,

Is it advisable to send the medical upfront in spousal visa to avoidable time delays?

1. Which visa office was your file transferred to? Where are you sponsoring your spouse from? 1.HONGKONG/MISSISAUGA
2. Did you use the old forms or new application kit? NEW APPLICATION KIT
3. Was upfront medical completed? If so, when? Has it passed on ECAS yet? YES,COMPLETED ON OCT 20.
4. Have you been able to link application to your GC myCIC account? I AM UNABLE TO LINK APPLICATION!!!TRIED A WHOLE WEEK!
5. Were you asked to submit an eIMM5669 yet? (Asked to upload once linked to myCIC account (ONLY if using new application kit). NO,BUT I ATTACHED IT WITH MY PAPER APPLICATION .
6. When was your ECAS PR application listed as "in progress". NO IDEA

P.S. You can add in your timeline details (file received date, AOR1 date, Family class, visa office, file transferred date, upfront medical date, etc.) so that everyone can easily see your timeline. To do this, click "profile" in top right of screen, then on update forum profile on the left bar (under modify profile), and then add in the details of your progress.

THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH!
I GOT SA ON FEB.07 AND ANOTHER EMAIL ON FEB.08, STATED THAT THE APPLICATION HAS TRANSFERRED TO HONGKONG.

i tried calling cic with no luck - so we've applied for visit visa for my husband. if it gets approved, he will be here while sponsorship process starts/is going..IF, his medical is requested during his time here, is it possible to just do the medical exam here, or it has to be his country of residence?

Anyone with an idea? Thanks in advance :)

He can do the medical exam in Canada. It was much cheaper for me to do it in Canada than in the United States.

I updated the spreadsheet for you again :) Glad I could help! :)

To check your ECAS status, you go here: https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=en. You enter in the application number from your SA email, and then either the details of the sponsor or the principle applicant (I prefer using sponsor details since you can see info on both sponsor approval and PR application processing dates), and then you can see a select few updates, such as date that the PR application became "in progress".

Keep trying to link to your MyCIC account. It takes several weeks for some people. The linking process is very inconsistent and can be quite frustrating as different things work for different people. But eventually, you should be able to link.... eventually... :) Although you already submitted the paper copy of IMM5669, once you link it to MyCIC account, you will be asked to submit the electronic version since you used the new application kit (just something they added to the new process to help "streamline").

Since they have transferred your application to Hong Kong, next thing you should likely receive is an email saying that Hong Kong has received your application (AOR2), assuming that Hong Kong actually sends those out... Singapore often takes 2 or so weeks from when it is transferred until AOR2 is received, but not sure for Hong Kong.

CdnWifeLivingInThailand, have you had a chance to play around with the web app I made?

I tried the link posted above but I got an error message... I did look at it when you posted it previously, but the only feature then was to look at what was inputed under "control" but couldn't update anything.

HI guts is there anyone in oue group received AOR2 already?

What error did you receive?
