Technically there's probably no problem with this, but if she wants the e-mails to come to her she should create an account and link it. This will result in it no longer being linked on your account.galt said:Hi Guys.
I have linked my wife's (PA) file to my account (Sponsor's). Is it ok? Or my wife needs to create a new GCKEY account & link the file on her account?
Please help?
Thanks
I didn't even know I could link. I thought the GC Key was only for the Applicant of the PR and not the sponsor? I'm the PR but my wife isn't really handling any of the paperwork and she wants to leave it up to me - so is it possible I can link her sponsor details into my PR application as well, on the CIC GCKey site? I was able to check her information and it already said DM with the online look-up tool - so I'm guessing it wouldn't be any different.danawhitaker said:Technically there's probably no problem with this, but if she wants the e-mails to come to her she should create an account and link it. Yes. When we were trying to link, my husband and I both had GCKey accounts and attempted linking each day to the maximum of five tries. I happened to be the one who got it linked first. And to be honest, as hands on as I am, I probably would have re-linked it to my own anyway once we got it one way or the other.barch88 said:I didn't even know I could link. Can I be added to this application for comparison? Also- I assume that the length of time used is in days, not weeks? And for each amount of time measured, is from the time the application was received? Hope that makes sense...Sheps said:According to the data I imported into my web application (https://immigration.dansheps.com/) two nights ago, people who sent in after the 18th, only two have received AOR1, (one 14 days, one 20 days).
There is a "Register" option at the top right, unless you already in there (I will need to send you a password).adt83 said:Can I be added to this application for comparison? To answer my own question (and based on recent answers here) there is only one application status, and it can be linked to only one GCKey account. Thus, the medical exam info we submitted with our application has passed! Which is awesome as my wife has had two skin cancer incidents (minor BCC both with successful treatment) so we feared some lengthy secondary examination process.sirbill said:I recall reading that I can only see the info regarding my Sponsorship application. In that case does "Review of medical results Passed" mean my wife's medical report has been accepted or is that just an artefact of the process she will need to link the application to see her results?
I am using the HTML5 date input type, which uses YYYY-MM-DD by default. It should have a date picker if you want to use that.adt83 said:Nice! I am impressed with this application you've created... another question, when inputting filters for the timeline- how should dates be inputted?
For some reason it's not showing a date picker- perhaps it's the browser I'm using?Sheps said:I am using the HTML5 date input type, which uses YYYY-MM-DD by default. It should have a date picker if you want to use that.
