January 2017-Citizenship applicants

I submitted the copy of the transcript from my university. It clearly states that the language in which the course is conducted is English. My application was accepted.

i wanted to know if someone sent just xerox copy of certificate (which is in english) + semester mark sheets , will cic accept it ?

read the red text in my post please , in this bullet it is written certificate can also work

It will work.. but if your wife is lucky she may need to take CELPIP exam..

It just depends on pure luck...i applied before you and still waiting for test invite ..mississagua office...each case treated individually is the bs i got from cic everytime i called...many people apllied after me passed the test and waiting for oath from toronto/mississagua...
After charging $630 , i expected them to follow the order that files were receieved and treat fairly..but after all cic is a govt office and known for their incompitence..

Hi, my sister and I went through the process through our degree and certificate attached on the application. But a separate document from our University was attached, clearly stating that all the courses we have finished to get the degree were all in English. I believe the document was called, "English as a medium of instructions."

It would be risky to just send your wife's diploma and TOR, as they may just not review it. When I reviewed my application package with an expert for Citizenship application, she mentioned that it should "explicitly say that English was the medium of language."

No I haven't. It takes a month to receive it. I thought I will be done before I need to order one

I applied for a Canadian Citizenship Certificate in January 2017. Pretty uncomplicated, my mother was born in Canada.
It shows my application was received January 27th 2017. I just received my citizenship certificate today in the mail.
So quite a bit faster than the 5 months they estimated it would take.

Legalcitizen and Sa3Sa3, my timeline is worse than yours. I mailed my app at the end of December and its been IP since the 3rd week of Jan. I expected the FP request to push things out a bit but not so much

there is no premium processing for citizenship applications.. so IMO all applicants should receive same service... if some office receives more applications then CIC needs to increase staff or open more offices..look Mississauga office applications, they are delayed by at least three months when compared to other offices..
