is it in a CIC location? a CIC office?

my wife's test is at Scarborough Office, we got the letter few days ago in the mail.

Update for my timeline:

Via eCAS - test letter date: March 17; test date April 5

Time to ramp up the studying!

Congratulations to those who got test invites.
Best of luck to everyone and hope those waiting get it quickly as well.
thanks for maintaining the ss, dkera

For those of you who got a fingerprint request, how long did it take for the letter to arrive in the mail?

My ecas was updated last Friday noting they sent correspondence requesting information (i.e. prolly fingerprints) on March 10.

It has been over a full week - surely it can't take that long for a letter to arrive from my local office (i.e. St. Clair or Mississauga).

Any thoughts?

Hi All,

My status is as follows:

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on February 27, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on March 6, 2017.
3. We started processing your application on March 15, 2017.

My question is when shall I receive this book, as of yet haven't received the book? Or do I have to order it?

Order it.

I am actually not sure, but it should be mentioned on the letter they have sent out.
On another note, i actually prepared 2 separate applications, for myself and my younger sister.
I sent them separately (paid separately). And I assume both would have the same timeline.

Now that I have received my exam date, I am checking her application, it still has no movement on it.
Hopefully, it is not on the same date as mine, as its her finals week. :)

Lets see how it all works out.

Hello everyone,

Do you think the Test Invite letter will send by mailing or emailing?

Because I forgot to give them my email, but they already sent AOR to my home address.
