I got a certificate type pf letter from RCMP
-- Do I need to send it to CIC myself
-- my eCAS still showing 3 line and no mention for FP etc although I got letter for FP and now I got FP report also.

Any advise pls

Your ECAS will not be updated when they receive your FP results. To make sure they receive it you have to call them. You can email rcmp to know if they send the results to cic. If not you can forward the mail from rcmp to them. In general, when you receive the results by mail from rcmp then you have to forward it to cic as rcmp will not send the results to two destinations. Thanks

ojenifer0 - some of the tests from the links are kind of harder than the others, like v-soul & citizenshipsupport.ca. not sure if you spend lot of time with them ? just trying to get an idea of how much effort to put in this test. My test is about three weeks from now. I have already spend over 20 hours on the book and some online test. I can score 100% on apnatoronto and citizenship support but other test I am only scoring 60-70% . Not sure if i should spend another 30 hours on the material

Hi dell,

Yes dell I did spent most of my time reading and practicing test online. Since that I had plenty of time. I think it helps me a lot because I'm a full time mom. Staying at home for me is a big plus. So, what I did before about practicing test online is that I took notes of my incorrect answers and kept reviewing them back afterwards.

And about your upcoming written test and interview, best of luck you can do it...!!!

Hi staralihaider,

Those websites that I provided recently were ALL FREE. The first link, just click the right upper menu button and click Practice test and simulation test.

Take note you don't need to spend a single dime for using it. ;)

Hello folks,

Already a week after the test and eCas still shows in process.. :(

Not so lucky as some others that got Decision made the day after the test.

For those taking the test, review and try to memorize the rights and responsibilities, the symbols, the provinces and what identifies them, also read the National and Royal anthems, those are the questions I remember.. It is a really simple test, just read the entire book first and take some tests online.

And remember if you don't pass the test, you have 2 more chances..Another written test and if you don't make it, you still have another chance but this time will be a verbal test.
I will say, just spend sometime going through the book and once you start taking the online tests you will get more familiar with the topics.

Best of luck everyone!

Cheers!!

Hi 0jenifer0,

Just curious to know if the questions in the test is hard? I mean to say if there is many questions with year to select or name to select of Generals or Father of Confederations? Or they are just something simple from known life like provinces, or the rights of citizens, parliamentary system etc?

Hello Raj_Hoque,

I had the same question when I was studying..
My test had neither dates nor names, questions are really general, some of them can be answered using a little bit of common sense.
Believe me, it is a really simple test!

Hope that helps!

Hi Raj,

The questions are easy. Trust me, ;) as long as you read the book and practiced online test your good to go. They were multiple choices, True or False and fill in the blanks. The written test that I got goes like this:

Multiple choices:

2. What are the Prairie Provinces ?
Ans: Manitoba, Alberta, Saskatchewan

20. What are the Atlantic territories?
Ans: Nova Scotia, PEI, NFL, New Brunswick

Fill in the blank multiple choices

The Sovereign Royal anthem is ________ ?
Ans: God save the Queen

And so on.........

Hope this tips will calm those people who have their upcoming written test and interview. Wish you luck guys. For us, we made it. You can do it too..!!! ;) ;) ;)
