We got our package off today. Nervous that I missed something (even though we both went over everything several times), but excited/relieved that it's finally off.

So it's around 63 days to find out if the sponsor is eligible to be a sponsor?

it is 53 days. :)

So they inform principle applicant or sponsor or the representative for AOR, SA and all?

yes, correspondence will go through representative!

Which spreadsheet should I fill out? Which one is the best one to keep up with? I filled out one but my information is no longer there. Now I see three different ones and I'm confused ???

I want to fill out the one that most benefits this January Outland 2016 forum.

Thanks!

Thankyou ! I'll just wait for our SA then i'll go ahead and have an up front medical
The problem is how to send the form that the panel physician would give me via case enquiry?
There is this question "Did you submit a paper application to an office OUTSIDE of Canada?"
Would it be a yes or no?

That's what i'm scared of doing the upfront medical i dont know how to fill in the case enquiry hehe .

Hey!
Actually, I dont think that you would have to fill out a case specific enquiry form if you were to do a medical check... I may be wrong though!
Because when you do the medical you get a receipt, which you send in with the initial application if you do it upfront, but the medical office sends the medical directly to CIC so that when they look you up in the medical check system or wherever those checks go once the doctors send them then they can see that they would have yours on file.. Im not sure though if you have to send the receipt to someone if you dont do it upfront...
And I would think that would be a "Yes" because you are doing an outland application and by the time that youd be requested to do a medical check your application would be in the Manila Visa Office?
haha I could be wrong about that too though! !

Just received my sponsor ship approval email from CIC.

Application received on Jan 20th , got AOR on march 1st

My SA was over 53 days so I called CIC and asked them about it. They said that it was complete but an email hadn't been sent out for whatever reason. I've seen this has happened a few times looking back at this board.

For anyone who may be over the 53 days and happen to reside outside of Canada, CIC's contact number is 613-944-4000. It's not a direct line to CIC, but you can reach the CIC call centre and speak to an agent. It's an automated service, so pressing "1" maybe seven or eight times will get you there.

GUYS WE GOT OUR SA EMAIL TODAY !!
SO HAPPY
APP RECEIVED JAN 25
AOR MARCH 4
SA MARCH 18

Hi Stephan reily,
Are you just gonna do an upfront medical and send it to them as a case enquiry and not wait for the med request?

We also got SA today! :D ;D

What a relief! And now.. more waiting!

Could you please give me an update if you go on Monday?
Thanks so much

Our application is also going to Manila, but I have a few questions.

1) Should we expect to hear anything from them once they receive it?
2) Does anyone know the average processing time for MVO? and does it already take into account the almost 2 months that have passed since our app reached Mississauga?
3) Hopefully when we get PPR, do we have to mail the physical passport to them in Manila, or how does it work?

Hi,
I got my SA letter on the 8th of March and I have 't heard anything from them.
PA side changed to In process a week after SA but still no update.
My sisters in law's whole application took about 8 months, but that was last 2014. I don't know about this year.

About the passport, I think they will send you instructions on how to send it, I do believe it has to be sent by a courier.
