Hey guys
I just checked this forum, and it is very helpfull.
I applied for my wife on Jan 27,2016
Received AOR on Mar 5,2016
SA still waiting.
Ecase shows In process for sponsorship and application received for PA.

My question is do you see any change on ecase when you receive your SA?
I am lil worried. :o

Goodluck guys. :)

Congrats! quick question, how many lines do you have in ecas now? does both sponsor and PR say in process?

Sponsor side is in process and PA is still application received.
I just got curious cause when I was reading the SA letter,the bottom part under "Requirement for Medical Examination"it actually said;

"If your sponsored relative(s) has (have)not already done so,your relative(s) must provide an original Upfront Medical Report form (IMM1017B UPFRONT) signed by a Panel Physician or an E-Medical Upfront Medical Notification information sheet. Your relative(s) must complete the medical examination and, once completed, email the information directly to the visa office noted above using the "case-specific" enquiries form along with this letter. If you have not already submitted a medical, your application has been transferred to the visa office noting this deficiency. Your relative must forward medical information directly to the visa office to allow continued processing of his/her application.Failure to do so will result in delays and possible refusal of your relative's application".

What does that paragraph mean? Does he have to do the upfront and file a case enquiry or just wait for a request?
Please, anyone help. I'm just so confused:-(

The applicant now has to submit medical information to the VO.

That’s what it means.

The whole paragraph means if there's no upfront medical, the files will still be forwarded to the VO but then the applicant has to sumit medical to the VO.

seems like things are changing.

The sentence
“Medical results have been received” is my second line. :) I'm quite amused n confused.

Meanwhile, all Jan2016 applicants please key in your timeline in thd spreadsheet. The info from everyone is great reference. Thank you.

Hey everyone,
Just curious, whats happens to ECAS when you get SA ? Sponsorship Application Status gets changed to decision made or still in process?

My wife and i got SA in early January and its already march heading down the road and our sponsorship side still saids ''in process'' so its nothing to worry about. Ecas is very unreliable at most times. There have been cases where people have received pr visas and have landed in Canada and their pr side still said application received too. So only depend on direct communication with your responsible VO

Hi,

Just wondering, would it be possible to get your spouse pr application rejected by the VO after getting SA?

Thanks

Inas

Hello can any one please share the contact number of CIC if we want to call from inside Canada ??

Usually they will ask for more information before a rejection. If they do not believe your relationship is genuine for example they would ask you for more evidence(just an example) or they would call you for an interview.

Thanks Thejeon. Hopefully my police report will come next week.

Cool, thanks! Are you just going to put a note in with that containing your UCI/Application ID?
