That's awesome news, especially as a fellow unemployed sponsor ;D Congratulations! Hope I hear something soon.

Thank you!! Yes now let the waiting game begin once again!

Hey everyone, I'm a February Outland, I read your forum once in a while just to check how fast your applications are going and I'm very glad some of you are already receiving your AOR1! :D

Waiting for AoR... 10++ days to go. Will try to extend my TRV after getting the AoR... so it meansa lot to get it... it's crazy how much it means... *_*

Thanks!!! I am sure Monday will be your day!

What is A0R1 and A0R2..?? I am sponsoring my spouse in Gambia to move to Canada. I am assuming that I send my applications and my husbands applications together with his Criminal Report and his Up Front Medical Report paper. All of this is soooo confusing. I do not want anything sent back to me and have to start at zero again. It already takes long enough for this process. :(

Yes you will be sending both applications together. AOR is received by the sponsor. AOR 2 is received by the Principal Applicant. So basically once CIC received your application and they do the initial assessment for completeness, you will receive AOR, and hopefully soon afterwards Sponsorship Approval. Once your file is transferred to VO for Gambia, your spouse will receive AOR that his application for PR is in process.

It can all feel too overwhelming but trust me, you have a wealth of information and very knowledgeable people available on this site, who will gladly help you out. We are all in this together :)

Hey, I saw you guys are applying from Lima, Peru?! So are we !!
Congratulations on your AOR! We just submitted our application a few days ago, so we still have a little bit of waiting time ahead of us, but it's good to find someone who is in the same boat!

I'm actually visiting my husband here in Lima as well right now, maybe we can exchange notes sometime

Hi AG317, yes we are also applying from Lima Peru. Its great to help you with your timeline ;D, we were looking for someone before us that apply last june and for them the app just took 6 months from start to finish.
We wish the best for you both and now it is just about the wait, the hardest part.

good luck for you guys and the best!!!!!

Got AOR1 this morning!! YAAAY! :D Such a good feeling to finally hear something.

There is 2 2016 Outland Spreadsheets!

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_01v9FvXAeU89_RtvIqcE85WCsFtJjTci-u1kiyV3mU/edit#gid=0
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1nQFdDeeLRGrdl_DzlAumwv6nyz-oprHo5rU1bGdDdqs/edit#gid=658388151

Couldn't figure out why I wasn't on it and realized this. Is there a specific one we should be using?

I think the below link was meant to be only Jan 2016 Outland application
https: //docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_01v9FvXAeU89_RtvIqcE85WCsFtJjTci-u1kiyV3mU/edit?pref=2&pli=1#gid=0

Whereas the other link is for all of 2016 applications... However, I think it is getting confusing for applicants.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF THOSE WHO RECEIVED THEIR AOR AND SA :)
HOPE WE HEAR OURS SOON TOO . I CAN SEE ON THE SPREADSHEET THAT ALMOST ALL AORS WERE GIVEN ON THE 45TH DAY . WE'RE ALMOST NEAR (33 DAYS SINCE THEY RECEIVED OUR APPLICATION) :-*
