I just got mail from CIC about incomplete app

• You must provide a current, SIGNED and completed Additional Family Information
(IMM5406). This form should be completed for the Principal Applicant (regardless of age) and all
dependents aged 18 and over that are listed on the Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM0008),
whether accompanying or not. For further instructions, refer to the CIC Website at
and select the appropriate Family
Class category under “Immigrate to Canada Permanently” to access general and region-specific
instruction guides and immigration forms.

I know that i send that form and that i filled it good...i just checked on the forum..

they accepted on 5th january in mississauga..now i dont know how much time i will wait for next contact

I am curious as to why they would email about missing forms if they were sent in??? Are they miss placing things? This kind of worries me as I would hate to have a delay in my app for mis placement of things.

How could this kind of situation be saved i wonder.

Seems like they miss placed the form.

The other thing is, Do they really email if anything missing ? Because I heard that if anything missing they will return whole file.

I submitted the applications and it was received by R.Mahmood on January 8th,2016.I guess I will be joining this thread.

Hoping to hear good news from CIC by next month
(even though it's 69 days for sponsor's assessment)
I'm the sponsor by the way

My application was received in Mississauga on 8th January, until now no news so it's a good news So excited too to receive an update ☺☺ cross fingers and hope those 69 days go fast.

I have tried to go on the website to check the status of my application by entering my receipt number ...but it says that there is no record due to them not opening the application yet. 40 days to go until we hear something...approximately

Hi all i send my missing(not signet) Imm5406 two days ago with DHL as they asked from me via email, it has just arrived in mississauga! Does any one know if this means that i just missed this paper or i could be asked to send some additional papers as well? Tnx
