Thanks! I've done a bit more research and now I realize he has to fill in everything on there on all his family members. We totally misunderstood what this form was.. thought it was only for additional dependents haha Oops.

I need you all's help. My husband is a Canadian citizen and I am an Indian citizen. We got married in July 2015 and we have filed for the spousal PR. Our file has reached Canada through the DHL courrier but there is no mail as to if they have received it or not. We have saved the tracking details with us which shows the confirmation of the delivered courrier. Now I would like to go to Canada on a visitors visa. So can anyone please guide me as to when would I first receive a conversation from CIC ??? When would I get the UIC number ?? Please guide me as I want to go and meet my husband soon. Thank you all in advance.

Hello, my application has reached on January 12. But I knew this hut from the courrier service of DHL. I did not get any kind of mail from Cic.. When will we receive the UIC number ??

You need to relax and calm down first. It's just been 10 days since your app has reached Mississauga. Don't expect to hear anything from them for at least 60 days since they receive your app.

You can go ahead and apply for a visitors visa. You do not need an UCI for that. Just be truthful on your visitor visa application that you have applied for PR and also state the genuine reason for your visit and show a return ticket and strong ties/reasons to return to India in 1-2 months and then go back only and only once your PR is processed.

Hi All,

I am doing my file ready to sponsor my spouse. As everybody is, I am so nervous about sending everything perfectly.

Although checklist for sponsor says all, but still I will confirm :

Medical and PCC is required for only sponsored spouse, not for the sponsor right ?
