Hello all! Today we finally sent off our Outland sponsorship application from Cancun, Mexico! I am really hoping to be back home in Alberta before next year. Does anyone know if there is a spread sheet for Jan 2016?

Good luck with your application. I am hoping for a speedy SA for all of us from what I'm seeing the November applicants are getting their AOR and SA right now....so maybe we might hear by march

Good luck to you as well and all others. It hasn't even been an hour sent and the suspense is killing me haha. Do you know if they send the responses via email or should I expect something in paper? The postal system here is lacking in many ways.

If you put an email address for your sponsor, then it will be through email. If not, then mail. And sometimes it's through mail even though you put an email because it's CIC lol. You won't hear back for months though so try not too get too anxious. I hope you did tracking for your app if the postal system sucks there.

Good! There was an awful story someone posted yesterday from October who just now found out that their package never even made it to CIC after waiting for months.

Just wanted to say hi to my fellow January 2016 applicants! My application was received on January 8.

I'm very interested to see which office our application will be sent to after SA as my husband is a Ugandan citizen who is a permanent resident of the USA. Hoping for the Ottawa office as seems pretty quick. Ugandan applications are sent to the new Dar es Salaam office which is so new it had no posted processing times even before CIC stopped showing times by office. Not sure if being a new office they will be quicker (no backlog) or slower (time for training or review by other offices). Regardless hoping for speedy AOR and SA for us all!

I am hoping the same! My application arrived safety at the case processing centre in Mississauga yesterday which is exciting!!! glad it did not get lost in the mail! I used DHL by the way... My package was 4.6 kilos and it cost 1,200 pesos to send! I recommend DHL very fast and reliable....we also got 2 free movie tickets because it was being sent international!
