We will try to submit this coming january. We just finalized everything, one question though as we submit our application package, we have to send also our medical tests? (sponsored) I am located here in Doha and my husband lives in canada and his permanent resident already.

Based on Spousal Sponsorship application, medical must be submitted with initial package but if you write explanation letter and include with spousal application, it will be accepted to submit medical at the time of AOR2

Got my medical today for the blood, urine and xray and all results are good. Tomorrow I will have my physical exam too. Thanks for the advice. :)

The USPS tracking shows my packet is still in New York New Years Eve so that puts us in the January group. Canadian husband, living in Michigan with applicant wife. May the processing go quickly and smoothly for all of us. He wants to go home!

Why did they change the processing time?

Got my medical results and they submitted it in CIC website.

HI everyone!! After 5 months of collecting documents I am sending in our application tomorrow!!!!! I feel like a weight has been lifted but also anxious to start the waiting game.

I am applying for spouse sponsorship...outland

A little history...My husband and i got married in 2009...I lived with him in Trinidad from then till august 2015. In august i moved back to Canada to start the process. We have two kids aged 5 and 4. He has no criminal history and has never been in canada. I am working part time and staying with my parents until he comes. I sent in our chat logs, call logs, a photo timeline from 2008 till now with pictures of us and our kids and family. I sent Fb ,essages as well from friends who couldnt attend our wedding. I also sent in copies of our kids birth certificates. (our kids are Canadian through me they were both born in trinidad)...

I am hoping and praying we are reunited this year :)

Hey just giving this thread a bump....any January applicants out there?

Hi there! Did u submit your application?

We got our package off today. Nervous that I missed something (even though we both went over everything several times), but excited/relieved that it's finally off.

So it's around 63 days to find out if the sponsor is eligible to be a sponsor?

We sent our application on Dec 24th (Merry Christmas to us!) and it was received on Jan 4th. Now the waiting begins ;D Looking forward to seeing everyone's updates! Fingers crossed!

I would do it with a courier for your own piece of mind. Get a signature and delivery confirmation.

Here's all the addresses. Yours will be:
2 Robert Speck Parkway,
Suite 300
Mississauga, ON
