It differs from case to case actually. Most get AOR1 within 4-5 weeks. Add another week or two for SA and then its up to the VO

I am curious to hear if anyone from January group heard anything from their VOs regarding any additional documents or interview/passport request.

My visa office is Ankara. They started processing my application on March 9th. Does anyone know how long it will be until I hear anything from them?

Does anyone know what AOR 2 letter like? I received an email from my VO today:

Dear xxxx:

This message is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada as a member of the family class. Your file has now been transferred to the Consulate General of Canada in Hong Kong for further processing.

This letter is comprised of two parts: the first part is a request for documentation that requires your immediate action. The second part contains general information which you should carefully review.

Part one - Document Request:

- All the document which I had sent to CiC already.

Part two - General Information:

- How to contact IRCC?
- How to check your status? and so on..

Is this a AOR 2 or just a standard email from CIC VO?

Nice!! It took me 54 days from AOR 1 to SA

I hope CIC will reduce the total process time from 17 soon!!

PA side only has two lines,that's because we didn't do upfront medical.But, they started processing already.

Hey!

So I'm new here and also very new to this sponsorship process. I am sponsoring my wife, hoping maybe if I post the info from the online status page you could let me know where about's we are.

On the sponsor side of things it says:

We received your application to sponsor xxxx xxxx on January 7, 2016.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on February 27, 2016.
We started processing your application on February 26, 2016.

I also have received a letter from them on March 3rd indicating I have been deemed eligible to sponsor my wife.

On the PR Application side of things it says:

We received xxxx xxxx application for permanent residence on January 7, 2016.
Medical results have been received.

Looking forward to hearing from some of you and being a part of this forums! Also best of luck to everyone else sponsoring their spouses!
