seems to be faster but still months to a couple of years. Depends on VO, it goes from 4 months to 18 months. You can refer to the spreadsheets in my signature for a better idea.

Mine doesn't have 3rd line: Medical results..

However, it does have "We started processing the application xxxxx"

Generally how long should we wait to get the line saying 'We started processing....' if they don't send AOR2?

Is it possible it doesn't get updated at all?

Anyone know how we can find out if the application was actually received by the VO? Or can you assume that when you get the SA saying your application was forwarded to xyz office, that it's actually already there?

The principal applicanty will get an email stating that the VO has received the application. And also the PA will get a UCI number.

I got approved to sponsor my husband and the files was already transferred to VO but he never got AOR2
But when I check Ecas,it says that they already started processing. He never got no email,so no UCI.
Do you know what that means?

It depends on what visa office it is. Some do not send out AOR2, so you just have to wait for any ecas updates. I waited two months with no updates on ecas after mine was transferred to Ottawa. It was a long wait without knowing anything. You just have to wait, sorry!

I wasn't sure what Destination in Canada was referring to - where you plan to live afterwards?
